Perfect for emergency repair kit
This roll is perfect. I wanted a condensed, essential only seat bag for my emergency kit only. It is exactly what I wanted. No moving around when I ride and super unobtrusive to the look of my bike. It holds spare tire, co2 and valve piece, patches and a multi tool. It is tight, but I got it all in there and it obviously broke in and now everything fits like a glove. I would not get this if you are looking to get in and out of it regularly.. even though it is a cinch to access. There is probably a better option for that purpose. This is a sleek stow-away emergency kit for me and it is great for that application

Very impressive saddle bag alternative
I stumbled across this jewel looking for something to carry my tools so I can put in my jersey pocket. Lucky me, look what I found. Not only does it fit in my jersey pocket, but securely attaches to the saddle rails. It even has more room than my saddle bag. In my stuffed saddle bag, I keep a tightly packed spare tube, tire lever, multi-tool, CO2 with holster. I transferred the items to the seat roll and I was overly impressed with all my items fitting, but also had room for more!!! The seat roll has 3 compartments that will hold your items securely. I only use 2 compartments which makes it even more compact. Now, lets talk about securing it to the bike...............The BOA locks it down so well, it's a dream come true. I'm a roadie and I see some many saddle bags flopping around during the ride. This has absolutely no movement at all when secured properly.I definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for compact versatility when it comes to securing and hiding your tool bag.

Minimalist load. Well made. Road cycling ONLY.
First, let me make one thing clear. The photos very clearly show an EMPTY roll attached to a bike. If you get this, do not expect it to look like that in use. It's small, but not that small. That said, this is a good solution for a ROAD cyclist (NO GRAVEL or MTB - it's not made for that much jarring) looking to carry the lightest most minimal load to handle the basic necessities while leaving the jersey pockets free for things you actually use on every ride. Personally, I was trying to force myself to pare it down to the essentials, and this is great for that.My loadout in this roll (listed at the end of the review) is about the maximum this will fit. Even at that, it takes some playing around to get it wrapped up properly. Once wrapped well, the elastic band does a decent job at keeping it rolled up. Attaching the roll to your seat rails does take some fiddling to get it securely fastened. The BOA system works very well, but if you don't find the sweet spot where the seat roll snugs well into the seat rails, you can expect that after tightening the BOA, the seat roll will settle a bit and wind up being a bit loose. I think this is why some reviewers think this seat roll comes loose - they didn't find the sweet spot. If you play with it a bit and tighten the BOA, then try to wiggle it around, then tighten, wiggle, tighten, until the roll doesn't wiggle anymore, you'll have a solid fit that will feel secure and stand up to anything road cycling has to offer short of the most bone jarring potholes.Once securely fixed to the rails, this roll is unobstrusive, light, and too small to ever be in the way. The only less noticeable seat bag/roll is no seat bag at all.PROS:LightDoes a fantastic job of keeping your tube protected from corners/edges of toolsSmall (won't rub on you or anything else and won't obscure your tail light)Water resistant (rain proof)Reflective stitchingForces you to minimize but holds the essentialsIf it comes loose, the BOA can be tightened while ridingCONS:PriceyTakes a bit of playing around to attach securelyNot secure enough for heavy gravel or mountain bikingToo small for larger gravel/MTB tubes (try the Grande Americano for larger tubes or two smaller tubes)---My loadout in this seat roll with zero extra room:1 tube 700c X 25-32mm (any bigger will struggle to fit)Crank Brothers F-15 multitool - could handle slightly larger but no bulky multitoolsWolf Tooth (tire lever/chain pliers with masterlinks inside)1 16g CO2 cartridge1 regulated CO2 inflater valve4 small zip ties1 tire boot (could fit more - they take no space)1 tube patch (could fit another out of the little cases)1 spare presta valve core (could fit a couple more, but why?)1 pair nitrile gloves (rolled and tucked across the fold of the upper flap - a bit bulky to stuff in the pockets)

Very classy
I was reluctant on buying this thing because the bad reviews, but I have to say that it looks very good and works perfectly! I’m able to fit 1 regular size tube (700 25-28) two CO2 cans the inflator a multitool (with tyre levers) and a set of patchs. As you can see in the photo, it doesn’t looks bulky, and it stays very good in the saddle. I’ve never liked seat bags, not because of the rules but because I really think that they are ugly, but tis roll is very well designed, it screams Italy everywhere, is very classy and looks “different”. Nonetheless I agree that it’s overpriced
