This is such a great, useful item that I don't know why more people don't talk about it. I have pretty, lightweight curtains we use in the bedroom. My husband has to sleep during the daytime to his work schedule so I was looking into switching our curtains to black out curtains, but could not find any with the same cute style. I found these liners that can just attach to our existing curtains and they were perfect. They just clip on to any curtains and turn them into black out curtains. They would also work great for blocking out heat from the sun.The only issue I have run into is that sometimes they stick out from behind my curtains when you pull the curtains open since they are a little shorter than the curtain itself. However you can easily just adjust the liner in the back once you open them. Could probably fix this with a little pin or fabric tape on the bottom, but its not a big enough issue for me to worry about.Highly, highly recommend if you are looking to make existing curtains into black out style.

These liners are awesome. The weight is great. The look is elegant. Easily slip onto a rod. Blocks the light from coming through. These will help keep the heat out during the summer. It will help keep the cold out in the winter. They feel extremely luxurious. Highly recommend these.

The black out part works well, it is just not wide enough for my window. I bought 2 sets and it covers my 70in wide windows

I love working night shift as a pediatric nurse, but sleeping well during the day can be a challenge. The blinds and curtains on my bedroom windows, darkened the room some, but still allowed a lot of light through. I was going to buy heavier curtains to block the light better, but then I found these black out liners. They are wonderful! With 3 large windows in my bedroom, fully replacing the curtains was going to be pretty expensive. I saved a ton of money by using these black out liners instead. You can see the dramatic difference in the photo. Now, only a tiny bit of light escapes around the edges. With my bedroom dark, its much easier to sleep during the day. The fabric is nice and thick, so it does is great job blocking the light. The hooks that came with the liners made it easy to attach them to my existing curtains. My only complaint is that loops on the liners are flat & very small so getting the hooks through them was a little tricky.

It said blackout. I like to sleep with NO light, these allow ambient light from a streetlight into the room. They are not blackout… they are room darkening. Big difference in my book. For now they are staying because I threw away the old ones that had been there, but my search continues for actual blackout curtains. The fit is perfect for the French doors.

I bought these so I could pin them to the back of the current curtains in my kitchen, as I did not want to buy another rod to hang an additional curtain. They were not too hard to pin to the current curtain, but it was helpful to have a second person holding the initial curtain for me to pin these too. They have so far worked out great, helping me block the heat and sun that hit my old single pain glass window in my kitchen. All in an attempt to save on energy. The kitchen is much cooler. The material is well made and thick enough to definitely block out sun and insulate.

I was a night shift nurse on Labor and Delivery for 2 years (and I am SO glad those years are behind me). Sleeping during the day was so difficult for me. My bedroom has 3 windows, each with beautiful sheer curtains and wooden blinds. The light of day kept me awake and sleep masks were so uncomfortable. I ended up buying these Nicetown blackout curtain liners because I didn't want to buy all new curtains for my bedroom and this is my review!These are SO reasonably priced compared to buying all new blackout curtains. They are easy to install by just hooking them onto your existing curtains (so I still get to keep my beautiful sheer curtains). They do a fantastic job blocking out the light and make my room feel as close to nighttime as possible with 3 windows. My room isn't completely dark, I can still tell it's daytime when I look around the room, but with my eyes closed I can't tell the difference and it darkens the room VERY well.If you are looking for a way to darken your room and you don't want to buy all new curtains, I would HIGHLY recommend these! They were a lifesaver for this night shift nurse.Hope this helps!

I bought these curtains back in 2018 and then some more for my other windows in 2020. They've been hanging over this window for 6 years. I've washed them twice, maybe 3 times. I have them hanging on my blackout curtains. This window faces west, so it gets really hot in the afternoon.My garbage cans caught on fire today, and these curtains kept the heat from coming in the broken window. The fire chief was asking me about them because in 23 years in the field he's never seen curtains withstand the heat like that. There was no smoke damage inside my house, no heat damage inside my house, and hardly any heat damage to the curtains. My couch that was up against the curtains isn't damaged in the slightest.10/10, will definitely be getting these again. I don't even have to replace them. They're fine. I'm absolutely astounded. I got them to keep the heat from the sun out, but they exceeded my expectations.

I am very happy with these blackout window curtain liners. It really does the job nicely and we are no longer blinded by the morning sunlight! The panels are nice and wide enough for my windows!

Cumplen con la función de bloquear la luz, eso si para colgar sobre una cortina no se me hizo práctico ya que perforaría la cortina existente que en si es para lo que yo la ocupo, también trae la opción de colgar que fue lo bueno y pude adaptarla ya que no quería perforar la otra cortina, tengan en cuenta su colocación como consejo.

I actually purchased this as a temporary fix to my regular curtains in the summer. My regular curtains are also black out curtains but a little bit of light still leaks through.I bought a tension rod to use this additional layer directly in my windowsill. It keeps my room nice and cool!
