I waited awhile before leaving a review as I wanted to test the unit fully before reviewing it.PROS:Build quality is awesome. Very premium feeling and the stereo chasis itself is branded with EONON. Not generic.Unit is quiet. No noisy fans.Screen rotates.. left, right, up and down. You can get the best angle.Dashboard is great, integration and personalization is up thereDecent price for what you getCONS:There's better out there (sound quality, options) in the price range (300-400$)Sound quality wasn't that impressiveProcessors are older generation, resulting in low scores from Geek Bench, ectResponsiveness was so-so. I think lack of processor power limited thisOverall:Nothing wrong with the company as they're a trusted name. I did my research but it all comes down to options, price and performance. It didn't meet my expectations but It might yours! Look at their other models before deciding what you'd like

The Eonon GA2189S was installed in a 2012 Toyota RAV4 Sport with standard audio system. The upgrade from a 7 inch 8227L CPU based head unit with a 4 core 1.1GHz CPU to this unit is like night and day. With its 8 core 8257P 2.0 GHz CPU, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, 10.1-inch adjustable bright crisp display, and awesome audio, this unit, in my opinion, is hard to beat in its price range and with great customer support.I installed the external mic on the steering column just behind the steering wheel which, I believe, makes it easier for unit to understand verbal commands. The steering wheel functions are easily programmed, and it works with the factory backup camera that came with the car.For those that like to experiment, this unit is easy to root with simple adb commands over wifi (credit to XDA forums).After reaching out to customer support, they kindly provided a link to the latest firmware (dated 2021.10.26). The upgrade process was simple and without error.

Put this system into a 2002 Chevrolet 3500 Crew Cab 4x4 Dually.... Fit well without any modifications to the radio support brace or instrument bezel. Gets a little close to the shift lever when in park, but really fantastic to have the large display close at hand when doing long distance trips. Coupled this with JBL 609C speakers up front and JBL GTO 629 speakers in the rear doors. Sounds fantastic... Good range and bass without an amp... Just use the equalizer app to turn on loudness and adjust levels to your liking... Cannibalize your front speaker mounts from your old speakers, and tear apart your old tweeters to use the backing plates to mount the 609C tweeters. There's plenty of room behind the door panels to mount the crossover... Set the crossovers on both sets of speakers to +3db, and this setup will sound fantastic...
