This is an excellent jar opener. With the turn screw knob it clamps on nicely to the lid and I can now open the jar!! Bonus, it does NOT cut up the edges of the cover like many other jar openers do (see lid after shots), then causing a risk of getting cut by the lid. This is a huge plus! I've tried it on pasta sauce jars, juice bottles and even the small cap that comes on milk cartons. Fits all and works extremely well. Huge game changer for me. Highly recommend.

Works great for both plastic and metal jar lids! I ordered two other jar openers that didn't work at all and third time was to charm on this one. We're familiar with this brand as we own a couple pair of their utility scissors that work wonderfully well too.

Perfect
Our second purchase, the latest to be gifted to a close friend. That's our recommendation, so good we want our friends to have one. For us it has never failed to open bottles and jars. From a steak sauce bottle cap no bigger around than a coin, to full size jars like canning jars. We had stopped buying pickles because we couldn't open the jars. We're enjoying pickles again thanks to Rikon opener. Ours is 4 years old. Six stars.
