Dwyer SERIES BFM Bulk Flow Monitor, with Piezo-element sensing technique, monitors movement of almost any solid, liquid or slurry through a pipe or chute system. Its versatile design affords effective monitoring for most flow/no flow conditions and is ideal for sensing the presence or absence of materials in Pneumatic Conveying Systems and many other applications, including: monitor oil spray systems, discharge chutes, distributors, screw conveyors, auger lines, drag conveyors, water systems, air systems, pneumatic systems, gravity feed systems, slurry systems, chemical processing, food processing and rotary drums. The BFM offers adjustable sensitivity depending on the application demand, easy installation and virtually no maintenance. The unit has LED indicators - flow (green)/ no flow (red), includes a relay output and RS-232 serial communication. The BFS-1 Sensor features integral mounting tabs for easy installation to the outside of a pipe or chute. It can be screwed, clamped or strapped in place to flat or round surfaces and is able to detect flow through most sheet metal. The Sensor is prewired with 3 ?wire.
