Machine Elements in Mechanical Design (What's New in Trades & Technology)

I have no opinion about this college text. It's required for a college course my son is taking. It does look nice, however.

Perfect reference for engineering students aspiring to take the fundamental engineering exam. Covers a lot of the material you would find in a test prep booklet.

Needed it for class...

This is a good book with a lot of information. The problem is that there are a lot of typos and errors.

Very dry. My professor made us buy this book because he rewrote chapter 5 for this edition. The book wasnt very helpful.

The book is well organized, lucid, with excellent graphics, and very importantly has many worked examples.
