Big let-down
I requested this books for Xmas a couple of times. I finally decided to purchase it myself. While a good account is done of Butch and Sundance, there is very little research or focus on Etta Place. While understandable due to the lack of tangible information on her, it was frustrating to go through the book any to realize that the author has nothing new to contribute. This book compliments any other book you may have on the subject, but will. It be an additional resource.

Disappointing to say the least
I was really looking forward to this book as I was hoping to find some new information on the identity of Ettla Place. I've read almost every book I know of on Butch, Sundance and the Wild Bunch and this one has nothing on them. It is an overall look at the trio of Butch, Sundance and Etta. Author D.J. Herda is a decent author and for those who want a quick overview of the trio and the Wild Bunch this is a decent telling of their adventures. As far as any new material I found none and his conclusion on who Etta Place was is the same as every other author and writer... he hasn't a clue.

Etta is almost an after thought
This book was more about the Outlaws not Etta

Should be titled Butch and Sundance
Very little here about Etta and nothing that we don’t already know. Very disappointing read and hardly worth your time.
