Stonebriar Round Nesting Galvanized Metal Serving Tray Set with Handles, Rustic Butler Trays, For Serving Food and Drink, a Unique Coffee Table Centerpiece, or Desk Organizer for Documents

Recieved my order of the trays and upon opening realized that the bottom has a mirror in each one. as well as a hook on the back to hang on a wall. Wasn't expecting that at all. I wanted them to use as trays for carrying items from the house to the patio. the small tray was fine however the large tray the mirror was smashed. so had to return due to the mirror being broken, it would have been difficult to remove the remaining broken mirror to make the tray usable. If using as trays and not just as decorative they didnt sit flat on a surface due to the hook.. it was welded on some not easily removable. Disappointed in the discription as I thought they were more of a usuable tray then just a decorative item. Returned and it was simple so that was a plus.

I didn't want to post this in public without trying to sort it out with seller first but I cannot contact them. Though it states sold by "Stonebriar", on my invoice it states "Sold by: Amazon.com Services, Inc" (but not linked). Neither of which I can find a method of how to contact on either my order or invoice.Furthermore I can't just "return" it as I had it sent to myus.com (shippers) first to send to me in my country, which I just received yesterday (Apr 17 '19). It would cost me more to send it back from overseas, purchase a new one, pay overseas shipping and custom's duty and taxes again.Okay here are the issues:1. The larger one has, in three areas, what appears to be some type of rock hard glue on top of the mirror (as if the worker gluing the mirror was very messy/careless. I have tried my best to clean it off but it appears to be superglue. Photos 1-5: the white marks on the mirror which was after I attempted to clean). It is rough to the touch.2. On the bottom/back of each tray there are two rubber feet and one irremovable thicker galvanized metal wall hook with sharp edges. The problem with this metal wall hook is numerous if using them as the trays they were sold as (see photos 6-8): a. The wall hook is thicker so it does not sit level on a surface like a tray should; it wobbles if you put something on one side only of the tray - balancing act. b. The wall hook edges are quite sharp so if you move it on a surface, the surface will be scratched badly. c. I purchased this to put on top of my sofa for drinks, if I don't lift it straight up in the air very carefully I risk snagging my sofa and/or throw blankets. d. I tried it on my lap and the hook dug into and scratched my thigh up. e. The trays cannot be stacked on top of each other, like shown in seller's photo, without risking scratching the mirror of the bottom larger tray.3. Nowhere on the seller's product page (at the time of writing this) does it mention this "wall hook" on the bottom/back of each nor that it doesn't rest level. BUT on the box that it came in it has a label that states "Metal Wall Mirrors/Trays" (see photo 9th).These clearly weren't meant to be used as moveable trays (serve as advertised) with these issues. If decoration trays they could be.I hope to hear back from the seller/s. I will update/edit appropriately if I do with the outcome.Thank youApr 27 '19 Update on how I fixed it including additional three photos (last):1. I have not heard back from the sellers.2. I have successfully removed the superglue on the mirror using rubbing alcohol.3. I added a variety of pads to create the perfect balance and to prevent the wall hook from scratching surfaces. Existing pads; I added two pads to each.

They are very pretty and everything but I had planned on using them for my coffee table centerpiece and unfortunately they have a metal hanging ledge that can’t be removed because it’s welded on so when you sit it on the table it’s lopsided. I added some felt furniture stickers to the bottom of the other side to even it out but still not ideal as it now looks as though it’s ‘floating’.

These are so great they have a wall mount in the back that makes it a little difficult for table centerpieces. I just added some burlap to the bottom boarder and it sits better. I love these!

Wish I had read the review that describes the hook and feet on the bottom. This is not mentioned in the product description. I was planning to use these to carry meals, but the junk on the back means I cannot just set them anywhere. These are clearly meant for wall display rather than tray use. Glad I got them very cheaply from the warehouse.

Both mirrors were broken upon arrival even though they were packaged well. It’s fine because I didn’t want the mirrors. Honestly wish they were available without so I wouldn’t have to worry about cutting myself while removing the mirrors as they are glued and taped in with double sided foam tape.

These are really cute but one of them came broken 😢

Loved these when I ordered them, and when they arrived... until I saw that one piece arrived with the glass shattered. They were wrapped, but not well enough.
