Great strap buy
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is perfect. Just the right size and exactly what I was looking for. I recently bought a hand held dog carrier (like a piece of luggage). While it fit my dog it only had a longer velcro clossing at the handle. I was concerned that if I used the handle to lift him, the velcro closing could open with the weight and down goes doggo. These straps are perfect.

Easy to attach or hold an item firmly
This product worked fine as far as holding and keeping stable anything that it fits around. I used it to better hold my bicycle "bag" which is attached below the seat. It had been loosening below the bike seat. I was able to loop it effectively onto the bike seat and it stopped drooping below the bike seat.

Good Stretch, Strong Grip, Good Length
These elastic straps are a good solution for those products that roll up but fight being put into their sleeve or stuff bag, like a sleeping pad. Sleeping pads especially are difficult and frustrating to deflate, roll, and stuff especially at early morning hours or when weather threatens. So never mind the stuff bag, but you still need to secure the thing from unrolling, and it may be plump from not being tightly rolled to squeeze out all the air from every nook and cranny. Enter these straps. One or two and the pad is secured, even if a bit too plump to fit into its bag. The 30" elastic strap is perfect to secure most pads - and other rolled up items, too, like a tent or tarp. And don't forget using one or two to tether or strap your fold-up closed cell foam pad or other bulky item to your pack. Very versatile and useful.

Works well
This, during the summer season has Sun 90%+ of the day, longevity remains to be seen, but it is Velcro brand and is a great fastener. No complaints for the price. I use it on a deck umbrella.
