Really great product no complaints at all!! Very durable and I love being able to cover the ports at night so rodents aren't attracted. Just don't push the port covers in too far or they get stuck (you can easily pull them back out with needle nose pliers). I've used them on old plastic kitty litter containers and plastic buckets, nice hole saw too.Be aware it works great for standard and small pelleted feed to keep chickens from spilling a lot out, I've tried both types of feed and there is minimal spilling. It does not help much with crumble style feed, they were still able to make a mess even with these feeders. If you use crumble style feed to avoid spillage better to ferment it and put only as much as they'll eat in a day in open pan or something.

Super easy to install, my 18 son did it. My chickens started eating right out of them immediately. Keeps the feed dry as well.

I bought two sets (of 4 each) of these for my flock of chickens them together on two big white food-grade buckets. It took the chickens about 2 minutes to figure out what was in it and how to eat out of it. I cut the holes low so that the feed at the bottom of the bucket would get eaten and we'll just put the bucket up on a riser (brick) to bring it to a comfortable level for the chickens.I thought I might have a problem w/ these feeder ports fitting snugly onto a round bucket (didn't think about that when I ordered them), but the buckets I bought at Home Depot are pliant enough that I could screw the things on tightly. I'm delighted with the result! Curious to see what sort of critters (like slugs), if any, get into the food and looking forward to being able to take a day off from feeding the birds.

All the pieces were there. Its a little weird trying to seal flat disks onto a curved bucket but it works and don’t leak……yet. Would have preferred a more contoured pieces but hey it worked

I bought this chicken feeder for my cousin to feed chicken he raised.Firstly, its a bit cheaper than the othersIts also well packedThough most of chicken feeders I can find contain a hole drill, I only bought this one and can only comment on this one. This drill good to use for us.This gravity-type automatic chicken feeder is a very good design and will not have a lot of feed waste.Thats all and I might update my comments later after my cousin uses it more.

Got these not knowing how I'd like them. My first version of chicken/duck feeder was a fully custom 5gal bucket and PVC contraption. Paird this with the 10gal Rubbermaid Brute trash can and LOVE IT. The trash can is mailable enough to conform to the flat face of these feeder nipples. I would not have liked these paired with a 5gal bucket.The 10gal can also holds a full 40lb bag of chicken feed.
