Mondo Market Parmigiano Reggiano 24 Month Top Grade - 3 Pound Wedge Cut

For as long as I can remember, we've always kept Parmigiano Reggiano on hand. It is probably my favorite cheese for many dishes and for nibbling.This particular cheese is of better quality than what I can easily find locally. I've bought this several time from Amazon, and it always arrives quickly and in good condition.The only downside is that three pounds is a lot of parmesan, and it needs to be stored properly, mainly to prevent it from drying out once the original vacuum bag is opened. You can wrap the unused portion in plastic wrap and wrap that in aluminum foil, but I cut it into largish chunks -- perhaps a half pound each -- and vacuum pack the individual pieces (I use a chamber vacuum sealer). I always store it in the refrigerator.I'll definitely keep ordering this from Amazon. In fact, I have a "chunk" on the way right now.

Ordered twice, never receivedDon't think they are even in business anymore. Their product was always top rate, best flavor. Will miss this cheese

I was a lil afraid to buy this parmesan cheese, because of some reviews.Well my order was on time and the package well sealed. When I opened it smell so good... I had to take a bite, and tasted really good. different from the ones I bought before. I'm happy.

This is supposed to be top grade Parmigiano Reggiano but I find the flavor to be subtle for 24 month aged cheese.More troubling is the amount it molded as we kept it in the cabinet; I'm not afraid of a little mold on cheese, but I also wasn't expecting it - I didn't think real Parmigiano Reggiano was supposed to mold. So now we cut off smaller pieces to use with the grater and the rest of it stays in the freezer.

Good for the price . Taste not bad . Overall good to be used as appetizer with Parma Ham for an Italian night......

This is excellent Quality and taste are great. You could not buy better Product in this Price range. I will buy again.

This one from Mondo market clumps compared to the one I previously ordered from Frank & Sal Italian market shipped from The Caseificio Sociale di Borgotaro, dairy 3090.

This is the 2nd time I have purchased this product and is very good quality and I love it. I’ve purchased others, but this one has been the best.
