does ok
Pretty nice little camera for the Pi. Streaming from Pi4 is rough thou. Great stills and the focus is very handy.

Good camera
Good camera - sharp images. The mounting bracket might be a plus for some people.

Very good camera with autofocus
I made few tests but I see better quality than others like 5 or 8 MP. It only can be used with Bullseye+ OS.I used a 64bit OS in a RPi 3B+.At first I was able to use this camera but OV5647 neither IMX 219/8MP. I installed required drivers detailed in the user manual but after that any of them were detected. Also had problems with python Picamera2 module. This one was solved with the help of Arducam folks at their forum. The other problems were solved rapidly letting techs access the Pi remotely. Very good support team.

Very Dissatisfied
Looks like a great little camera and Id really like to get it to work but I have yet not been able to capture an image with this thing. It is not compatible like the ras pi cams. I have the Pi Cam v2 as well as the Pi Cam HQ and both just work. I have tried various tutorials and being Linux dumb, when a tutorial fails, I'm lost. If your trying to get this as an Octoprint cam they say it can work. But for me I am trying to use Twister OS and so far it has not worked. Its too bas as I was really excited to try the Arducam HQ the 64mp one. But for now I saw beware. Not saying its a bad cam, just saying beware as its not plug an play like the official pi cams are. But then again the official pi cams dont have motorized AF which I was REALLY excited to try. Dont think its worth my time and effort to find a ride and deal with the drama of returning this so Im chalking this up as a loss. I spent hours of frustration reading trough tutorials only to fail.

Good camera, does not work with Motion
I wanted a good camera to use with motion, and thought I'd give this a try. Once it's been set up, it works great. The autofocus is crisp too! The included plastic housing is nice and provides protection to the board components and lens and a convenient way to mount. However, it requires the use of specially downloaded libcamera-dev drivers. So it does not work with Motion, which was my intended use. Probably have to wait until Motion officially supports it, or something else idk. So if you're only planning to use libcamera functionality, or the docs say it can be used with OctoEye or gstreamer or python, then this will probably be fine! Otherwise, find a different camera.

Works great. Needs non RPi software (easy to install).
Works great. Just make sure that you install correct software. Love the auto zoom feature of this camera. If attaching to a RPi Zero, make sure to get an adapter cable.

Misleading compatability
The driver installation process is pretty painful, if you want to use this camera it has to be the Raspberry Pi OS, there is no support for building drivers for say Ubuntu 20 or 22.
