I had lost some weight and none of my belts were fitting me. The tool worked exceedingly well. Make sure you turn the little knob on the side each time you set the size...otherwise it will "stick" and you won't be able to punch down on the leather. I used on 10 belts...some of which I had not worn in a long time and so just put them aside. This tool was easy to use and made very clear punches and was able to use the same size punch on most of the belts. Good Tip:It measured 1 inch from hole to hole in almost all belts. I did a 1 inch hole and then an extra hole between the last hole and the prior one. This way I have another option in terms of loosening or tightening the belt. There are hardly any shoe repair stores in the area now so having this tool saved lots of bucks and time.

This is easy to use and worth the few extra dollars. It has a stabilizing brace that opens up on the bottom so you don’t need help with your project. Easy to open and close with a simple pin for safe storage. You just dial in the size of hole you want to make and align it with the punch then press down. Super easy. Just make you measure and mark where you want the hole punched. Much easier to use than the hand pliers or a punch. I’d definitely recommend this it’s worth the money

Works great! I'm punching through 3 layers of leather and it's pretty effortless. I've done about 500 punches so far with the same punch bit and it seems to be staying sharp, requiring about the same amount of force as the first holes did. Be careful not to lose the little pin that holds it closed for storage. Time will tell on the longevity of this tool but it seems very solidly built and expect it to last for many years. Very pleased with my purchase.

I'm giving this 4 stars because I need a magnifying glass to read the instructions! And then I sort of have to figure it out myself. There is a little screw and bracket that keeps you from turning the wheel to get the size hole you want, and nothing is said about that. You have to loosen it with a screwdriver so you can turn the wheel, then tighten it when you get the size you want. Other than that, if you watch the video it's self explanatory. The little brace is nice, and the puncher works wonderfully as long as the belt isn't real thick. ( then it didn't go all the way through) I didn't know if I needed to take the clear plastic thing off that's where the peg comes down to make the hole, but I left it there. I see there are more included when this one wears out. Just PLEASE include larger pictures and instructions. The holes it makes are nice, and it lays on the table so you press down, - it's not hand held. This is easier for an older person.

After reading the abundance of positive reviews, I decided to try this product, and I’m SO glad I did! I was sick of going to the alteration store to have them punch holes in my belts. This leather hole puncher is incredibly easy to use, and as you can see from my picture, it leaves perfect holes. I love it!!

Bought this twice! One for me and the other for my mom. So necessary for belts if you’re fluctuating weight and need an extra hole for the perfect fit. It’s super easy and there are all the sizes you need to get the belt to be perfect!

Paid for itself literally in minutes. I went through about 7 leather belts to make one additional hole in I needed in less than 5.The hole adjustment on the tool itself took a lil time to do, but after that, I was very satisfied. Def get!
