Smaller than my airfryer. Does not take up much space on my kitchen counter. Magic Chef makes a good quality products. My previous ice maker is a Magic Chef and it has run 24/7 for the past 10 years. It is a larger version but I was impressed with it continued flawless operation over the years. I just needed to clean the water deposits that built up. This is easy to set up. It was set up and making ice in minutes. I'm very pleased with this appliance so far. Ice cubes are a decent size set on the large setting.

I've had this running almost non stop for nearly two months. I've drained it twice when I went out of town but other than that it runs like a top 24-7. It is a little noisy at times but I'd imagine the same from other units. Keep your expectations realistic - these aren't refrigerated so cubes will melt, stick together, form a block if you place them in your freezer, etc. I either take ice directly from the ice maker or dump the bin in to a silicone box I found for storing compostables. With the silicone box I can just smack it against the counter a few times after the wet ice cubes have stuck together and it's good to go until empty.The drain is a little fiddly to use so I'd recommend letting it make ice until the water level is extremely low, dumping that ice, and then draining the minimal amount of water that remains. I pull the unit off the edge of the counter top and pull the plug with a quart mason jar beneath. Then leave the lid open to dry everything out while I'm away.

Needed an ice maker that is not to large but also to provide the amount of ice I needed, checked few other options on Amazon and nothing particularly striking, decided an a independent research and found this little machine that was actually on Amazon website, after reading about the features, compared to others, I decided to purchase this unit, was a bit unsettled at first and was eager to receive the machine.The packaging was superb, the machine beautiful to look at and small enough to fit a countertop, next was to reading the manual, pretty straight forward and then...Oh! Lordy was to have this machine live to its expectations, to my amazement, in no time the unit started producing ice!! as I set it to larger size ice.in short, very easy to operated, perform as it says it would, produce beautiful ice in decent time and delighted so far with this purchase, no more buying ice from the store, what a relief this as been.

We are a family of 6, with two adults and four kids under age of eight.We first purchased this ice maker about 5 years ago to sip lime tea the ice in our new Samsoung fridge that just did not keep up with the amount of ice we used each day.To our surprise, we absolutely fell in love with this thing. Everyone drank more water and quickly became addicted to chewing this ice.We did have to repair that first one about two times, once when the plastic ice turner inside broke and the other when the water despensor broke. Both easy repairs.That machine finally gave out after about 4 years. We quickly purchased another in January 2017.Same as usual till about 3 weeks ago when the machine turned off saying it was filled with ice, even though there was no ice in the machine. I have messed with the sensors and other parts of it, with no success. So after less then a year, this machine broke. We have tried to not have it but everyone in the house misses the machine and the ice it makes.So today I gave in and purchased yet another one of these machines. This time, I was happy to spend the extra $20 for the 4-year full warranty Amazon provided.If you like ice, then this is the machine for you. Unfortunately, it has a tendency to break in a year or two. So I highly recommend buying the protection plan. Coming from someone who never buys those things, it will be put to use before the 4 years are up.

It worked great for about 14 months. I used it in our camper periodically. Then half the ice was so tiny. Can't send it in for repair, so sad to say it's a use it til it stops working, then throw it away and get another. Can't stand throwing good money away.

Arrives stinking and greasy from machine oil. Clean it and find out how cheaply made it is. Then plug it in and find out how badly formed the ice is ... how soft and fragile. Keep a good freezer nearby to the keep the ice from quickly melting. Better yet, save your money, buy some cheap silicon ice trays and put them in your freezer.

Wish I'd gotten one years ago!

I always try to be honest. I will be more than ever on this one.It arrived got it out of the box followed the instructions washed it filled it with water chose my cube size and hit the go button. Few minutes later I had ice. Wasn’t real hard for the first drop but it was ice. Few minutes later ice again. Not hard but I’m thinking it will get better and boy did it. Few minutes later it starts buzzing sounds like a real bad dishwasher. It does make ice. Once it gets going it will make ice surprised how little water it takes. The ice got bigger and harder. It drops every few minutes. Sometimes the scoop hangs and shuts it off. It thinks it’s full but you turn it off then back on and off it goes.My wife loves it my grandkids thinks it’s the best thing since sliced bread. The ice is nice and chewable. But it sounds like a 747 coming though the house. It drives me crazy.I just got it yesterday and I want to send it back. But my wife will probably win. I can move it to another room and shut the door.No complaint about the ice or how long it takes to make it. The noise my goodness it’s bad.Going to take a chance and call the company customer service and see how common this is. I bet before it’s over I pack it up and ship it back. $114 is a lot to spend for a noise maker. And I turn it off when I get enough ice for the wife to use.This is as honest as I can be. To bad it’s so loud it makes ice fast.Here’s my new review after using it for a couple of weeks.I stated it was like a 747 coming though the house. I guess it needed to run because it is quieter than it was. I can tolerate it now. Still makes ice like crazy. I love the texture of the ice it’s easy to crunch in your mouth. Sounds like a dishwasher now. I’m keeping this baby.

My husband was so happy with his Christmas gift. Easy set up. Works like a charm. Highly recommend.

It makes more than enough ice for me. The ice cubes are just the right size. Its easy to use and I just wipe it down with a damp cloth.

Esta muy bien y práctico si la fiesta es hasta de 4 personas. Si es de más no da abasto.
