For what it’s meant for, it’s really nice
First, this isn’t a safe. It’s just a box with combo locks, meant to deter snoopy people. It won’t do anything against a determined entrant, and the label reminds you of that, before you go and use it to hold your gold bricks. This one’s marketed as fitting under the bed, comes with a cable that normally costs extra so you can secure it to a fixed object, and is aimed at college students to deter nosy roomies. Wish I had this when I was in college...I already have one in a different configuration, oriented for files; the combination locks were easy to set and work just fine, so I wanted another for larger, horizontally oriented items. This one stacks easily with other stuff, and if positioned with locks facing inward, just looks like an instrument case or something. It was easy to set the locks on this one, too; they worked perfectly right away. I’m not in and out of this box daily, so I can’t say how well they’ll hold up, but I’ve accessed my other one at least thirty times without a problem so far.I like the tactical black color scheme; it really is subtle, doesn’t draw attention to the box. Haven’t used the cable. I didn’t love that it only has one hinge inside, but they put a notch for the cable on the other side instead of a hinge. We’ll see if that was a good idea in the long run or not; I’m hoping I don’t have to get into this thing all the time, in that case. I’d rather have had the two hinges for increased stability.Still, the hinge that’s there is sturdy enough, holds the lid open by itself when fully extended. It’s a bit stiff, doesn’t want to fold back easily, but that’s intentional so it will keep the lid up when you want it to.Lots of capacity. I can fit everything I need to in here.I like this for an emergency box—not fireproof or anything, but something you grab when you have to leave, where you keep spare meds, important docs, etc. It’s not going to survive if you don’t get to take it with you, but it would come in handy if you had to evacuate, would give you a modicum of privacy for your stuff in a shelter or motel. I’m torn between this and a vertically oriented one for that use, though—this one needs both hands for you to carry it properly, esp if it’s not empty, while vertical design is a one-hand grab. The other reason I like it is when having work done in house, or home showings; it gives me an easy place to stash bills and receipts and things I don’t want to fall into the wrong hands, safely away from prying eyes. It can fit a laptop easily, even a big one, and still has room for more; could probably stack 3 average laptops in one of these if you had to.A useful device. I don’t like keyed ones, as a person who loses keys but can remember a number code; if you’re better with keys, they make those kinds, too.

It's basically a large, kinda-flimsy briefcase.
Despite the title, I gave the product five stars because it is exactly what it appears to be ... but nothing more than that. It's basically a large briefcase, without the thicker walls or internal dividers, etc. The aluminum framing/bracing is "OK" and both well-fitted and riveted to the polymer wall material, which is pretty rigid/solid, but don't mistake this thing for any kind of high-end "security" storage container. It's durable enough to discourage the average "lookie-loo" from poking around in whatever personal effects you want to keep in it, and you can use the cable to anchor it to some fixed object so it can't be easily carried off, but once you "jimmy" the locks (and I think anyone could probably do that pretty easily with a large screwdriver and a little well-placed leverage), the case is open, the "security cable" becomes useless and whatever you stored in it is history. Good product, minimal security value/function, a bit overpriced I think, but not so much that I'd ding the manufacturer a star. I got what I saw/ordered/paid for.

Glad I Accidently bought two
Bought this chest to store our adult toys and it's exactly what I needed. It's spacious enough to fit our collection, including a box that stores our swing. I couldn't be happier with the space and storage. The locking and combination seem sturdy on this one, but I accidently bought two and the first one I unboxed had a broken lock. I opened it, went through the steps, pushed the lock down and was obstructed by the locking mechanism. No matter what I did it wouldn't correct itself, So I moved on to the next box and everything works fine.

Bought this one year ago
I bought this at May 2, 2023, I have used it to hid my passport, my important documents, and to hide my personal journal from my mom, I have forgotten the password and was about to break it and get a new one, until I saw a YouTube video on how to open the lock, you just have to roll the lock while keeping your finger on the button heading outwards, until you find the right combination and the lock pops open immediately, and it only took 6 minutes, I was shocked, it's a good case, it's durable and tough, but it only works if your trying to keep out kids off your stuff, a detriment adult would make a security breach, I think maybe an electronic lock might be a better option for me, but over all this box is very good and I Don't regret buying it at all, maybe I will buy some more to keep things away from children, but it is NOT 100% safe, yet it is a very good buy.

Well made
Tough exterior. Plenty of room. Great locks. Love the ridged outside design.

Looks cool... but does not work!
I ordered two of these. Neither worked properly. While this case looks very nice, read the reviews. Being flimsy or cheaply made is an understatement. To unlock this, all you need to do is push the lid and bottom in opposite directions. The locks just pop open. Again these look very cool. If you're trying to aim for a cool handcuffed case for a scene in a movie, perfect. If you're trying to lock anyone out from accessing your valuables, skip it!

It’s so-so
The box is very presentable. It’s very large and spacious. Not too sturdy, but sturdy enough to sit on a table or not be moved around much. The panels are very thin. Very light weight. No keys. Only combo, like a briefcase. The tumblers are cheaply made. I can hardly read the numbers to open the lock. This box is not a safe. It could be easily broken into. Compared to other key and combo safes I’ve researched, the quality for value for this box is overpriced. I found a few more superior steel and fireproof Safe boxes at Harbor freight for approx same price. I’ll be returning this box.

Perfect lock box for dorms!
My son is using it for residence to store his laptop and other valuables. It’s not completely protective but enough to prevent quick swipes.

fragile not strong. locks below standard.
One lock opens other doesn't. So can't open box. Plus it looks like solid box. Plastic or very thin aluminium. Not at all secure. Can be cut into easily or a hard punch woukd break it.
