Let there be light!
I planned to do some further scuba diving training this summer, and needed a decent torch as the training was taking place in a cold dark quarry. I had a budget of £100 as every one says thats a good starting figure for a good dive torch.I saw this one advertised with an impressive 13000 lumens and 4 super bright LEDs. It is also ok to go as deep as 150m, not that I ever plan to go that deep, it gave me confidence in the build quality. When the torch arrived, it didn't disappoint. It comes safely packaged. Also included was 2 batteries, charger, a cord to attach the torch to you whilst diving and some spare o rings. After every dive it is so important to clean the o rings and check for any sand or debris on them. Also add a tiny bit of silicone grease to keep them supple. If they show signs of cracking or bulging swap in the spare ones and use the old ones as a guide to buy more.Ive been using the torch every dive and it is far brighter than any one else's on my course. Our water suffers poor visibility so at least we can communicate using our torch lights when we can't actually see each other. I feel so much safer having this reliable torch with me.It also has a good weight to it, very solid and a nice size to hold.It is 1/2kg so taking this torch diving allowed me to drop a bit of weight from my weight belt too. Im going to order another smaller one to keep in my bcd pocket as a back up for redundancy too.As you can see in one of the photos, I took the torch on a night dive. Wow the sea was lit up so bright! It was an incredible experience!

Insanely bright beast of a torch!
The media could not be loaded. This is the brightest light source I have ever seen in my life!Lets start with the build quality, it's built like a tank. The tail cap feels smooth to unscrew and the button is nice to press. The torch is defiantly on the heavy side, think Maglite but a little more mass, it sure has the "BONK" factor!I do not dive. The reason why I brought a diving torch is for two reasons:1) This isn't just for diving, it can also be used as a regular super bright torch, it even has an intelligent thermal regulator that keeps the torch cool even when it's not under water.2) I know that it can survive my hiking trips even in the MINGING British weather! Now for the brightness. It's unreal! I literally cannot explain just how bright this thing is!Best I could do is post a short video comparing it to a "9 million lumen" torch brought off Ebay.As you can see from the video, this torch is definitely 13,000 GENUINE lumens, if not more!If you are looking for the ultimate diving torch, or you simply want an immensely bright torch that will outshine even the most powerful car headlights, than look no further.

Very bright
Great torch but after only three charges of the re chargeable batteries one of them has died and will not charge at all.Very disappointed that I now have to buy another battery.Had the torch 5 months.

Fantastic very bright torch perfect for scubadiving.
Very bright and well manufactured torch. Been using Wurkkos for 3 years now diving in cold UK waters at depths of 30+ m. Thus far had no issues. Brought the DL40 as my first Wurkkos torch and have since used the DL70 and DL30. 40 and 70 are similar with both boasting extremely bright top settings. Battery life lasts two 1 hour dives if not using top brightness. Beam rivals and often far supercede more expensive dive torches used in my club, with a clear bright white light. The DL30 is very compact and perfect as a back up light (I prefer the twist switch on it as it does not turn on accidentally), whilst still packing a punch. Highly reccomend Wurkkos to everyone looking for a first diving torch.

Built like a tank and very bright
The media could not be loaded. This torch is really well built and as you can see from the video, extremely bright. I have only had it for a few days, but from the apparent quality I expect it to last for a very long time. Definitely recommended!

Bright, waterproof and built like a tank!
This is a very bright torch, easy to use and with high built quality. As it is a dive torch, it is completely water proof. It comes with a charging dock for the batteries.

Appalling build quality
The anodised coating practically dissolved off after one dive in contact with seawater. This has now jammed the torch and it cannot be opened. I have never seen such a poor quality finish. The torch is super bright but the button is too exposed and the torch turns itself on all the time during transport.
