A quite pleasant fragranced pre-shave for users of electric shavers. The fragrance is strong, without being overpowering, clean-smelling, rather than complex. The spirit base has an astringent effect, readying the beard for an effective electric shave.The spirit content does appear to secure a closer and more satisfying daily shave. I’m not convinced you’d use this as an aftershave, though. It’s relatively expensive for a fairly conventional balm or lotion, but it seems to do the job

Best ever pre electric shave.
I have always used Boots electric preshave but they have discontinued it. After reading all reviews, I decided to try this one. I am so glad I did, as it is so good. It makes an electric shave so much more comfortable and the bonus is that the fragrance is so nice. I shall continue to use this in future.

Used others which didn't really work, thought I'd try this , a lot more expensive than others on the market and to be perfectly honest, buy the cheaper ones, works reasonably well but not worth the price.

Does the job, but at a price.
I only use an electric shaver as a backup to my morning daily wet shave to get rid of the stubble when going out in the evening. As such I am not an expert when it comes to electric shave products. My go to pre-electric shave brands being Boots and Superdrug which are cheap and effective for my somewhat limited needs. Unfortunately, I ran out just before going on holiday so had to resort to other means and I chose Speick because I needed it quickly and it came out favourably in reviews. Albeit at a price.Whilst I am pleased with the results, I cannot say that it is significantly better than the High Street brands but at twice the price. Don't get me wrong it's a good product and I will definitely order again if I have to but for my limited needs it's not good value for money.

The best pre-electeic I’ve ever used
Dries down very quickly with no greasiness. Very slick and enables a noticeably closer smoother shave. Excellent and much better than both the cheaper chemist alternatives and lab series products I’ve tried. Not as good as the shave cream but a sizeable step up nonetheless
