Vitcas Heat Resistant Tile Adhesive is a ready-to-use mixed tile adhesive specifically designed for high temperature applications where standard tile cements are ineffective for long-term tile preservation. For repairing tiles in areas prone to high temperatures, such as fire conditions, behind boilers, ranges, cookers and radiators, the Vitcas Heat Resistance Tile Adhesive should be used. The heat-resistant tile adhesive can be used directly from the tub, swirling the contents into a smooth paste. Tile adhesive should be applied to the wall with a Vitcas 6mm tile comb and then the tiles should be pressed to provide a 3mm bed to the adhesive. The glue would usually dry overnight, but it is good if it is possible to heat the joint to any degree. It is necessary to seal the surface using a VITCAS PVA adhesive sealer before applying the adhesive on fresh cement or plaster surfaces, otherwise bonding can be compromised. Surplus Heat Resistant Tile Adhesive must be cleaned with a moist cloth immediately from each tile board. Tile Adhesive MUST BE completely set before grouting.
