I use it daily for weighing food and tracking portions, and it makes my healthy eating routine so much easier. I also appreciate that it’s lightweight and easy to clean. Honestly, it’s a great value for the price — I wish I had bought it sooner!

The scale is perfect, it’s simple, light weight, and works great. Super simple to use. And perfect for everyday use.I had the Zwilling scale and it’s just terrible. The battery never held, it was easier to keep it plugged in full time.This scale is great, battery lasts long and it’s as simple as having a pair of backup batteries.

I love that my Etekcity Digital Kitchen Scale is a great tool in my kitchen to help me measure food to ensure that I track what I’m putting into my body, my husband's and my children’s bodies each and every day, all day! It helps me measure food and ensure the quality control on everything. This food scale is my constant companion. I don’t eat without it. Now, don’t get me wrong. I didn't always use a food scale to measure my food intake. In fact, for years when I heard people talk about using a food scale, and measuring their food intake it was always dieters, and one thing I never went on was a diet. At least not in the sense I understood they meant to use the word, "diet"! The thought of depriving my body from food was foreign to me. In fact, growing up with a limited food supply meant that once I was old enough to get a job, I exiled food shortage from my life. However, overeating because food became plentiful in adulthood with a job eventually became a problem. Especially after pregnancy and becoming a mother. An experience worth losing a few vanity points over for sure! However, with weight gain vanity concerns pale in comparison to health concerns. You see, I needed to know for sure that I was eating what my body needed, and that I was feeding my husband and children what their bodies needed. And, if I began to tip over to overeating, I wanted it to be a conscious choice! And for my husband and children, I wanted to help them learn when to recognize that they were tipping over the point of eating the recommended daily calories from each food group so that I and so that they had awareness of when they had enough to do the job of sustaining a thriving body so we could experience the whole life change we were after as a family. This Etekcity Digital Kitchen Scale plays a big part of helping us do that. All day, every day. It makes it easy. It takes just a second to put the food on it and measure the serving size. And I get to choose the units (ounces, grams, etc.).Now, I don't know about you, but I LOVE observing how people who work for companies in a support capacity do their jobs. Like I told you, this thing works hard all day every day measuring food for a family of four. Several weeks later, they reached out to me to ask me how the new scale was working. Talk about a customer support team! I recently purchased this Food Kitchen Scale to help with portion control and baking, and overall, I'm pretty happy with it. For the price, it's a great little helper in the kitchen.One of the things I immediately appreciated is how light and compact it is. It doesn't take up much counter space at all, and it's easy to store away in a drawer when I'm not using it. The stainless steel platform is easy to wipe clean, which is a definite plus after dealing with sticky ingredients.The accuracy seems pretty decent. I've tested it against some known weights, and while it's not perfect, it's certainly accurate enough for my needs. The tare function works well, allowing me to easily weigh ingredients in bowls without having to do any math. I’ve found it particularly useful for measuring ingredients for bread making.However, there are a couple of things that prevent me from giving it a full 5 stars. First, the display, while clear, can be a little difficult to read in certain lighting conditions. Also, I am not really liking buttons, sometimes, it doesn't register my press, which can be a bit frustrating when I'm trying to quickly tare the scale or switch units. The scale is okay, it gets the job done.Ultimately, this Food Kitchen Scale is a good value for the money. It's accurate enough for most home cooking and baking needs, it's compact and easy to store, and the tare function is a time-saver. Just be aware of the slightly fussy buttons and potentially tricky display in certain lighting. Still a worthwhile purchase if you're looking for an affordable and functional kitchen scale.

I love this gram scale. Great value for the money and works exactly how I need it to. It reads weights fast so mixing sourdough is easy. It seems to be very accurate. The scale is lightweight but durable and is the perfect size for big and small bowls. The digital face is easy to read making mixing nearly effortless.

I use this scale to refill my Nespresso Vertuo capsules. I start out with an empty capsule(Pod) and "Tare" it to set the scale to only measure the coffee weight by ignoring the Pod weight which is 2 grams. I then add 11 grams of my favorite fresh ground, for a total of 13 grams which is the weight of new Nespresso brand pods. I use the "CAPMESSO Reusable Coffee Capsule Lids for Reusable Nespresso Pods Vertuo, Food Grade Silicone Caps for Any Sizes of Refillable Vertuo Pods." instead of the foil seals as they tend to be time consuming and my OCD will not allow me to have a seal that is less than perfect. YMMV.The scale has back-lit LCD screen with large fonts for easy reading and is not too large or too small. It's surface is made of 304 food-grade stainless steel. Supports 5 units (oz/lb:oz/fl'oz/g/mL), tare function and accurately weighs up to 11 lb/5 kg with 1 g increments. Includes 2 AAA batteries.
