New IR Remote Control for Dish Network 20.1 IR Satellite Receiver TV DVD VCR

I was concerned about the product when I pulled it up because the notification said that it was often returned. I took a chance after seeing it was $10 cheaper than what Dish wanted. Then there was criticism in the ratings about not being able to program it with the TV. Fortunately, the TV my husband received for his 90th birthday was a 'smart' TV. When I started trying to program it, it just took over and everything is working fine.

This product doesn’t have the best reviews, but from what I recieved it, the control came out fine. The instructions were a bit confusing but, turn on your receiver with your older remote or via the button on the receiver. Then take out its batteries of the old remote, and hold TV/DVD on your new remote, your TV should say Press SAT to use control and boom, way simpler than the instructions at least, controls work nice. Volume buttons do not work but that was the case for the older remote ever since we used Smart TVs so isn’t a problem. Good product.

These items are awful!They dont work the second time we used themYou havr to hit them with on your hand or sofa to work.Good luck. Junk

Buen Contro Remoto

The remote that came with the Dish modem wore out.We need to replace it and found it difficult to find. We found it on AMAZON!!!We ordered two of them and thought we would be able to progam them.After many attempts and with a poor learning curve, we needed to call Dish to have a technician come to do it.Even he was having problems gettin it to full function, He contactacted Dish, only to be told we needed a new modem.Given the challange, the tech was not giving up. We fouind the instructions that came with the remotes and after a series of codes found the right one.They are working very well and woth the effort.

TOOK ME ABOUT 15 MINUTES TO READ AND PROGRAM THE REMOTE. HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT
