I'm leaving this review in hopes of helping out some of the people who were inconvenienced by having to unscrew and rescrew the software. It's not the end of the world to have to do that of course, but for your convenience, I strongly suggest getting tubular lightbulbs instead. That's what we had on hand and they fit in without any trouble at all. You won't have to think twice about changing the lightbulb on these then.Like someone said, it's maybe a slightly expensive lamp for the going rate on Amazon, but if you were to buy this in a store you would for sure pay more. It holds up well, the slightly frosted globe gives a nice effect (diffuses light well), and it's not plastic/doesn't feel cheap. We've got three in the house now. I would recommend.

Went through a lot of trouble and this is perfect.

Love the look but find it awkward to replace the bulb as others have mentioned. Once it’s set up, it’s perfect, works nicely with Alexa powered color changing bulbs. Would buy again but has to lose a point for being so awkward. Arrived well packaged but first one was broken (I blame our delivery folks, they’re not the most careful so I’d say it was dropped and there’s virtually no packaging that is 100% infallible).

I was looking for a lamp to counter-balance the shape of my mid-century modern Saarinen Tulip side table. This fit the bill and I’m so happy with it! It looks just like the photo. I put a standard chandelier bulb in it and it throws plenty of light. The quality is better than I expected. It looks great, is very sturdy, was affordable, and complements MCM style. I highly recommend this lamp.

Two years in, this lamp still works great! Our bedroom doesn't have overhead lighting, but this lamp alone provides enough light to illuminate the room for ambiance and visibility. A perfect ten!

This is a cool, MCM/modern accent lamp. It’s not meant to be a primary light source so it benefits from warmer bulbs, (3k or under in the light temp scale and no more than 40 watts - preferably 25). The warmer the bulb, the more attractive the glow. It’s the ideal sort of accent light for on top of a credenza or buffet or sideboard or entry table.

These are absolutely gorgeous midmod inspired lights. The clear cord is easy to hide and they work with Phillips Hue perfectly (we have the “ST19 Edison” E26 bulbs). They fit inside the globe and like other reviewers said I needed to remove the collar on the glass globe and reinstall it with the bulb in. Took maybe 3 minutes to do two lights and couldn’t be happier!

This lamp is gorg and the price is *chefs kiss* thank you so much to the person who gave the tip on the Phillips bulb.
