Good quality cable
I got this cable as an upgrade from cat6, seems well made against the cheaper options, a lot stiffer than expected. this cable has made a noticeable difference, web pages load smoother, has given minor improvement in speeds but the increase only minimal - only talking mb's.

An "audiophile" review
I have a decent home network (pfSense, Unifi switches etc) but this review will not focus on that. This cable is not used in my main network but to connect a couple of key audiophile / videophile components to a dedicated Melco switch. We are talking Oppo 203, dCS Rossini etc. It's an over-engineered cable with 22AWG OFC copper, some the most impressive connectors I have seen to date and, best in class screening and, to cut a long story short, a sound to die for.I know plenty of people don't believe in network cables - bits are just bits after all - but the demonstration is simple. Pay 30£, not hundreds or thousand, wait for the delivery man to knock on your door, sit back and enjoy the difference.I have the Audioquest Diamond, the Meizu Opal and plenty of other "audiophile" cables. This is on par with the very best for a fraction of the price.I am not going to say more. It's ridiculously cheap by audiophile standards, connect your streamer or your TV using this cable. Don't argue, just try one. Hear / see the difference.

Easy to use
I have created quite a number of ethernet cables and used a number of connectors. These are the best I have ever used. Simple design, robust and easy to put together. Not the cheapest but well worth it. I will be purchasing more in the near future.

Performs in line with expectations
I will start by saying that I am certain I ordered the cable in the pictures. That is, black cable with red connectors. The one I received was all black. At the end of the day, it is not overly important, as it is the cable performance that counts. It arrived in a clear plastic bag and inside, the ends of the cables were not sheaved to protect them during storage and transit. Something I see as being an indicator of quality, that is missing from this one. The connectors do look ok, and the cable performs as expected. Due to the short length, I am using between my Smart TV and a Powerline router, and it works ok. Cat 8 is a bit of an overkill for this, but it does mean the cable is somewhat futureproof. The sort of performance this cable delivers, is better suited to high end applications, rather than normal home use. However, if changing cables, why not get the most up-to-date ones and future proof your set-up.The cable is quite thick and, if bent, will keep that shape quite well.Price wise, it is inline with other cable at the same price and quality.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.NB. For a sizing guide, squares in photos are 1cm.

The best CAT8 cable currently on the market, no question!
After having tried and changed a few different CAT8 cables, came across this one. This is the best CAT8 cable currently on the market by far! Using it to connect Virgin media router (in modem mode) to my ASUS router, finally reaching speeds over 900Mbps! It is more expensive but totally worth it, especially if you have a few streaming devices and you need a stable connection.

Turns out its a lor shorter that i thought.
I had 2 cables which were advertised as CAT 7 in the past only to find i had 100mbps max capacity when I upgraded to gigabit internet. Swapped them out for this and now i get the full 1000mbps download so I cant complain at all. Though CAT 8 is overkill for 99% of people.
