I have dropped one star as the inverter is not protected against reversed polarity DC input, checking with Victron, reversed input will damage the unit. Be very careful how you connect it.The standing current in normal mode is approx 400mA, and the unit is silent when running on light loads. The output Voltage was exactly 230V at 50Hz. I cannot detect any radio interference from the unit, unlike some cheaper units. The UK output socket is now mounted "upside down" as delivered, to facilitate connecting a UK mains plug.The 5 year warranty, quick response to queries on the Victron support forum and full certification for the product make it a much better unit than the far eastern units.

Sized up for low wattage application so very a very economical install with top quality performance.If you at developing a small solar project then stick to Victron, especially with the MPPT as they are the best out there for charging and maintaining your battery bank.

Victron. Good quality product, does what it says on the tin. I tried 3 other cheaper makes and had to send them all back. You pays your money you get your choice.
