We always have Labrador Retrievers, which is the dog pictured on the front, and this saying is perfect for my husband, whom our dogs always adore. This was the perfect gift for him, and it looks great between a couple of wooden deer on our fireplace.The sign is as described - a box sign rather than a solid piece of wood. It is "shadow box" construction with the picture and the saying on what would be the backside of the shadow box. That makes it light weight, and it stands up easily on its bottom. It could also be hung easily.The earthtone colors would allow it to fit into a lot of decors. It would be great for a cabin, but it also fits the decor of our casual family room. We like it a lot!

We both love the dog plaque! We are using it as decor in my husband's den and it is so true of how a dog seems to think of his master - - Great conversation piece!
