Works on my old one that has phillips head screws
My old Shark thats gotta be around 10 years old was mot working well and making some silly noises. 20 minutes and this thing saved me from having to buy a new vacuum. Super easy to install and the vacuum works like new.

Doesn't last
I need a new roller because mine just broke again. I looked up what I'd ordered last time so I could reorder, only to discover I'd just ordered this part only 8 mos ago. Normal usage - roughly once, maybe twice, a week in a 2000 Sq ft home. So that's 8 mos. Really??? Trying a different brand and hoping for better.....
