Great magnet, I use it to extract nails from ashes before disposing them after burning wood from construction jobs. Works flawlessly each and every time.

Just what I needed, very strong and great value for money 10/10

The media could not be loaded. The video shows the magnet lifting ( 10kg plates X 4 ) + (20kg plates X 4) = 120Kgs plus about another 2kgs for the dumbbell and locking nuts - say 122kgs total.The contact between the magnet and iron was direct and 100% magnet to metal.Permanent magnetic fields are small - only a few mm between the magnetic surface and the item being attracted. Near the end of the video I wind down the locking nut about 5mm onto the dumbbell and that is enough to reduce the contact point and allow me to pretty easily pull the magnet off the stack.The magnet will probably lift 190kgs; but only when then magnet is in DIRECT AND FULL contact with a magnetic surface.A similar test on the surfaces of my panel van demonstrated that the magnet makes a strong connection on the relatively thick pillars, but a much weaker connection on the thin metal panels between the pillars.Bottom line: The magnet does what it claims to do. But not all buyers will be satisfied. It will all depend on your application and your expectations.

This was a bit larger than the use I intended it for and is the most powerful magnet I have ever come across! It is really good quality and will outlast us all!
