Quality materials, even beam pattern.
Use this daily, fits in pocket and works well. Lens is made of glass and case seems more durable against drops and scratches than other aluminum body flashlights. The push button operation features are a bit convoluted (might need to read the manual and practice to get the features down) but does provide lots of options. Press to turn on/off is kind of stiff where the 1/2 press is light, would like the 1/2 press to turn on/off but this is probably best as a safety feature to prevent the light from coming on in your pocket (this has happened already, the light can get very warm).

Amazing light, but battery cases do not fit!
Nitecore E4K bundle including an extra NL2150 EPR battery. I ordered two of these bundle packages. Amazing amount of light in such a small package. The battery case that comes with it does NOT fit the battery. The case is too short. Hoping the manufacturer sees this review and reaches out to me for a replacement. I do not want to send everything back because the flashlight is definitely a 5-Star device. My 4-Star rating is because, as I mentioned, the battery case for my extra battery does Not fit. Both of my flashlights are with the upgraded user interface with the 2-stage switch. Very friendly and intuitive. Only modification the light needs is another way to lock the light in an off positioning other than partially unscrewing the back of the flashlight. The flashlight is small... 4.63". I prefer one that is a little longer, but again, this is a very nice device that is well made.

False specs
Why can’t companies just set expectations if their products that are realistic? They test these lights, right? Over 4000lumens for 30 minutes? Right. Yes, they did note that heat could cause the max lumens to diminish. But after only a few minutes? That is just awful. Full battery, light not used since the day before, and about 4 minutes of turbo until it dropped to the next level down. From there, the intensity continued to dwindle. I would guess that it was somewhere between medium and high after 10 minutes of use. Just awful!!

Not impressed
Nothing but issue never turn on constantly cycling thru the brightness to get it to work sometimes it work It should turn on every time you push the on off switch but this light hasn't done that expectations where high on this flashlight but it did not hold up ..

Nice when new but don't last and Nitecore offers virtually no support
I have had two Nightcore P12 flashlights and currently own a Nitecore E4K. Two of the three flashlights were a gift. Both of the P12s failed within a year. Nitecore offers virtually no support. Their instructions were to ship it back to China so they can inspect it. The E4K no longer works on half a switch press. It only toggles between bright and super bright. These should be $10 throwaway flashlights. For $89 they are not worth buying. When this one wears out I will be finished with Nitecore as a company.
