I paid more for this as it specifically stated it was suitable for the coffee machine that I have. However it is NOT suitable and has completely got jammed inside the machine. Sage are now quoting £300-400 to have this removed and repaired as there’s chance it’s damaged the machine internally where the coffee filters from. Absolutely devastated. This was eventually refunded after explaining I can’t send it back however I am now left with a completely unusable machine and a hefty repair bill. This is NOT and I repeat NOT AT ALL suitable for sage machines. After speaking with sage the depth and size of the grooves that hook on to the machine are different sizes and the whole thing isn’t the size it states. Please do not get this for a Sage coffee machine at all. I am so upset and wish I’d have gone with my gut and paid the proper place for them. Definitely an expensive lesson learnt. 😭😭

I’ve updated this original review, “It’s well made and nicely finished, but it’s slightly thinner on the lugs than the Sage product. I knew my seal was worn so I replaced it, but it still doesn’t sit tight enough to prevent leakage around the basket, which is a shame.”After reading and leaning and looking closely, the leakage was not around the basket top (after I’d replaced my seal) it was channeling through the puck. This highlighted a problem with the way I packed my puck, which is now mostly resolved. I wonder how many other reviews are negative as a result of user error. The point of the bottomless filler is so we can see what’s happening and improve.

I have been in the market for a bottomless portafilter for a while and found the Neouza on amazon for a decent price. I ordered it and it arrived 3 weeks later, which was dissapointing.I have pulled a few shots with it and my second finding is that the sage basket does not properly fit. Once you have pulled a shot the basket sticks to the inside of the group head and you have to remove it with your hand. Now this is not a massive issue but it is dissapointing.Over all the portafilter is good, just dissapointed with the actual functionality of it.

I was getting fed up keep having to change the filter bowl on my Sage machine when I wanted to make a Latte instead of a standard cappuchino. I looked at getting another filter holder from Sage but they are horrendously expensive. I searched Amazon to see if they had compatible holder and found this. Not only is it far cheaper than the Sage original but being bottomless gives a much more even pour and you can see what's going on. I'm very pleased with it and have even considered buying a second one for the single shot filter I use for cappuchinos. Definitely recommended.

Happy with this purchase, its inspiring confidence that it will last. It feels quite heavy, and holds heat quite well. Good fit on the original sage baskets as well as IMS ones. The basket sits very snug which means I don't need to worry about it flying off into the bin. I only remove it once or twice a week for cleaning around the ridge, which doesn;';t really collect any dirt anyway.
