I have given 4 stars because I purchased the to dramatically reduce the heat from my memory foam mattress. It does reduce the heat, but it is not dramatic. Something is better than nothing and for the price really it is a great option. I also have added an IKEA mattress protector under it and actually it works quite well, so maybe I just need a few layers between me and the foam. For anyone understanding the technology, I have cotton bedlinen, I have not tried mercerised yet, but I will update if a lyocell (Tencel) mix improves things. I was surprised it was made from polyester.Comfort and fluffiness - It is fluffy and comfortable. It arrives packed, so let it ‘breath’ before making your bed. I opened the windows and left it most of the day. Again not like you fall onto a candy floss cloud, but nice. It makes the made bed look filled and tidy.The skirt - OMG - BRILLIANT. As I said I have an IKEA protector under it now and it keeps that in place - which was a real pain before. Also makes making the bed easier.The fabric has a nice pattern, it is soft and has luxurious feel to it. The filling is nicely even and the size is perfect as described.

I was worried about ordering this as it seemed a lot cheaper than others on offer. Not the cheapest but a long way off the most expensive. But its OK. It came so tightly packed it looked really small. But as soon as I started to cut it open I could hear the hiss as air started to fill it...so don't open until you want it out of the bag or you will have a big mattress topper on your hands. Fluffed up nicely and fitted like a dream! My other mattress topper has straps that would slip off, this is like a fitted sheet but is really deep so when you put it on your mattress, it's deeply wrapped so nothing is going to pop a corner. My mattress is standard depth, I will say but I could see a thicker mattress would be fine. It's soft and thick. Can't say if it stays that way as only just got it but it looks the business.

I left this out of the vacuum bag for most of the day as instructed and it was definitely fuller.The protector is very comfortable, I no longer feel the buttons on the mattresses underneath.Biggest bonus is it really does work keeping me cool! My body temp fluctuates a bit during the night, at first I thought I imagined that it had made a difference, then the hot weather came and I have still managed to sleep soundly.Great value for money!The only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5, is that the width (side to side) is about 3cm too short for my double mattress, so it doesn't cover edege to edge entirely. Not enough of an issue to send back, but it's a little annoying when making the bed. The fitted skirt is great though and a generous depth. Extremely happy overall.

Covered my double futon well. There is padding but not as much as I would have liked. I can still feel some lumps and bumps underneath it. Having said that I still think it is a good mattress topper/value for money and would recommend.

Ok so it's not deep but it is comfortable. Also has a strap witch makes it easy to put on the bed. Good buy if your wife wanted a softer mattress and you accidentally ordered a very firm one whooops. But this topper makes our mattress much softer now and i have a happy wife.

Great quality, comfortable and well fitted topper, would buy again
