Better Than Most
As an engineering paper (and mechanical pencil) addict, I was pleased with the quality of this paper overall. Will probably order more when my current batch runs out.

Found the answer to my loose leaf prayers.
I've been looking for a good, all around paper that is good for whatever I throw at it. Notes, ideas, calculations, half-hearted attempts at designing my dream home, etc. I have been using standard grid paper for a couple of years now. While perusing amazon for more graph paper to buy in large amounts, this showed up on my suggested items. It seemed Ideal for my needs. The fact that the grid is printed on the back of the paper and is blank on the front makes the grid aspect unobtrusive and optional for scratching down scattered ideas to look into later, but still have a grid when I needed to do some quick math or more organized note taking. It's an ingenious design, honestly. The only issue I have is the holes tend to rip out over time in a binder. I just use some masking tape and a hole punch to fix them when that happens. There are actual products to solve this problem that look nicer than my solution if that seems too messy of a look for you.I'd say go for it. it's a good overall paper for just about any idea I can throw at it. If you're anything like me, you can never have too much loose leaf lying around, so 500 sheets seems a healthy number.

Excellant paper!
Does not bleed when used with fountain pen, writes comfortably.

Not perfect, but ideal for most purposes like calculation and diagramming.
I purchased 2 pads. I have only recently started using engineering pads again. I used them in college, but do not recall the quality of the paper from 20 years ago. These pads have all the features I expect.1) light green paper and is low glare. - Very important for me as I get older.2) Top margin is 1/2 inch. - Seems good for me.3) Right margin is about 9/16 of and inch. - Seems good for me.4) Grid area is 7" wide by 10 inches Tall. - Just like I remember5) Grid is just visible from the front even in poor light. It is faint enough so it is not distracting from the drawing and calculations. - Perfect to me.6) Erasing of HB pencil marks is easy and does not compromise the paper or the grid on the back side. There are a couple of issues, which may be big for some. The top margin line is not always right on top of the top grid line. It is right on for some and on other pages, from the same pad, it is off by as much as 1/32 above the top grid line. This is a very minor/non issue for me. I never mark right up to the margin anyway and only noticed it when I decided to make a overly precise review. The side margins seem to be pretty consistent and are always within the thickness of the lines. No more than 1/64 off on the pages I have checked.I am using them for calculation and rough diagramming of problems, so precise alignment of the margin and grid do not affect me at all. I am very happy with them and I will definitely buy them again.I thought about 4 stars, but chose 5 as it is perfect for my use and is relatively cheap. The issues I found are nit picking. I would not have even noticed the margin issues except that I decided to do an OCD like review. My exact star level would have been 4 and 31/43rd stars, which rounds to 5.
