Made two10" diameter drum lamp shades 14" tall
Impressed with how well these came out. A few tips. Comes coiled. Let it relax before trying to work with it. Use a FABRIC PENCIL to mark with (wish I had). Put the stiff fabric around your spider ring set and secure them in place. I clamped mine with miniature clothes pins* on the top and bottom edge and left them for several days to form to the size and shape of my shade. Instructions say to use weights to set the seam. A couple of pins* on the ends and several sets of 1" refrigerator magnets formed a tighter bond and I didn't have to wait for the glue set up. Suggest you make lines 1/8" from the top and bottom edges to help guide the peal and stick tape.

High quality
Very nice. I am using it to create a cover for a 1940s bathroom wall sconce. It looks pretty fancy.

Total failure
I followed the instructions exactly and “fixed” my lamp shade beautifully and then 5 days later it all fell apart because the tape supplied is absolutely crap. So disappointed and wasted $40.

Nice looking kit. Saved a ton of money.
I bought this as a last ditch effort to save an expensive fixture in our dining room. The shades had yellowed and were an odd size not sold anywhere. I stripped the old shade material and reused the original metal hoops with this kit. Worked great, and the kit was plenty to remake four shades that were roughly 8" diameter x 5" tall. The fabric has a very nice texture that you really only notice when the light is on. The fixture looks better than new.

Perfect answer to unavailability!
Had 2 motor home lampshades that turned yellow. Couldn’t find replacements anywhere because they are small oval sconce shades. It was a little tough because they are so small, but this product was the right solution! Very happy and I recommend it!
