Absolute joke. It’s like they didn’t even read her book. Seems more like a middle school journal to talk about your feelings as opposed to guiding through leadership and Brene’s book.

I have mixed feelings on this book. I LOVE how I can stop and answer questions, self-reflect, & apply action steps. However, the book seemed very opinionated and critical at times. It can be easy to judge someone’s flaws & insecurities if you’ve never walked a day in their shoes. This book passed judgement at times speaking on the topics of “fairness” and “kindness.” I’m a firm believer in giving advice not judgement. All in all, the book was okay.

Brand new book looks used. By some standards, it was destroyed. Not acceptable but I need to start using it for a book club so I can’t return it.

Encouragement I ordered this book because my administrator said this would be a great team book to read.
