St.Tropez

I'm naturally very pale and I always find it uncomfortable going out in the beginning of summer because I look like a ghost. Just one use and I'm gently tanned, perfect to take the edge off. It's a lotion consistency which glided onto my skin with my tanning mitt and blended nicely when I added some pressure as it dries so quickly. It's very dark to start with, I looked like I'd been to Greece for a week. Once applied it dries pretty quickly so you're fine to get dressed (I'd just stay away from white just in case). I left it on for 8 hours staying away from water then washed my hands and face because I was worried about it getting too dark and went to bed. (8 hours was enough I'd just seen a lot of people saying they slept in it so I figured why not.) Next morning I washed off the darker layer and a beautiful golden tan had developed. I love this product and don't understand some of the negative reviews, it's not a green colour, if anything it's like a reddish brown, and the consistency is like a lotion not water although I did shake the bottle first so maybe it separates. It also smells gently of coconuts but isn't that noticeable especially the next day.

Fantastic product! As someone who has very pale skin, I've used tons of different types of fake tan at all kinds of prices. But this is the only one I keep returning to and it never lets me down.Quite scary when you first use it as the colour looks like black tar on the tanning mit! But it does not stay like that and it is a big advantage as you can see exactly where you are applying it.Bear in mind that it is important that you work it into your skin well to get the desired effect. If you are looking for something to slap on quickly this might not be the product for you.However if you want something that gives a really even, natural long lasting tan with no orange tones, then this is worth considering.It also wears really evenly and does not have that horrid fake tan biscuity scent.Can highly recommend!

I wouldn't say that this is a gradual tan as once developed you're left with a tacky layer which feels like a instant tan but once washed off it was fine, smells really nice probably one of the best scents and no horrible "fake tan" smell, it fades evenly but one application was enough for me as I'm really fair and the colour is so natural

Have always had good results fro St Tropez tanning products, but not with this one. It looks like tar - VERY dark and will stain fabric/carpets. Had to buy a mitten to apply - which does make it go on very well. Advantage is that you can see where you’ve covered and spot gaps. Would be worth it if there was a good effect next morning, but there WASN’T. Most of it washed off in shower and very little ttanning effect. Despite this, smell lingered all day. Will avoid in future.

I don’t know why San Tropez changed this product’s formula. It’s nothing like the original. It dries quickly and it’s a garish greeny colour on initial application. Very difficult to blend and smooth, you have to treat it like a normal full fake tan - apply with gloves, at night, dark pjs, don’t touch anything etc. I don’t understand the difference between this one and the moose except that the moose is easier to apply and you get a pay off for all your hard work. Unlike with this one, as much of the work as a full fake tan but the results are ‘gradual’. I don’t get it. Can’t face using it again.

I’ve used this a few times and love the healthy glow it gives me. Not too dark. And you can build it up. It’s quite pricey compared to other gradual tans. But I got a good deal on prime day. So happy with that.

Firstly I have used lots of different fake tans for years and I am sorry to say that this is the worst one ever! When I applied it sparingly & evenly, I thought this is great as it is good and dark which I like but after a few hours it looked like my skin was all dirty! It was awful, not to mention how it transferred onto my clothes and bed clothes, so unfortunately I won't be applying this again..
