A great read!!! ✨
This book was super fun. Took me only a couple of days to finish it. And, yes it's very short. Around 65 pages. And, that again a disappointing factor nonetheless. This book tells you about how to detox your dopamine based activities. For example : you are addicted to video games or YouTube or any other thing. What actually happens is that by relishing yourself under such activities dopamine is released inside our body which actually is a neurotransmitter and it gives us a feeling of satisfaction, joy, accomplishment. You complete a certain hard-core mission in a game and dopamine is released. You scroll through instagram and youtube shorts enjoying relevant and irrelevant videos to have fun. This right here my folks is called 'dopamine hikacking.'What's happening is that you are constantly being put into these environments because of ease of access and then your dopamine is getting utilised in unnecessary activities. This is where this book comes in handy. It highlights the importance of 'what you should be doing.'The problem is that — it never ends. Once you waste time in these useless activities, the regret hits us. But what happens another day? We repeat the same mistake. Same regret. And, the cycle goes on before we realise that we wasted our precious time. The book dives deep into explaining how we are prone to such mind-distracting things. And, how to stay away from them for our well-being.The only issue is that this book was super short. I needed more. The language is very easy and understandable and the way it is written is also very pleasing. It keeps us hooked right from the get go. This is a type of book which you can read anytime and any number of times. It's so good that even after rereading it you won't get bored. Instead, you'll probably gain something new.A must buy if you're facing mind focus problems. I have attached a picture which will tell you for who is this book for?

Brilliantly composed
A must read!! It is a concise self-help book that explores how overstimulation from social media, junk food, and instant gratification hijacks our brain’s reward system. It offers practical steps to reset dopamine levels, improve focus, and regain control over habits. While the book is straightforward and easy to follow, it mainly reiterates common productivity and mindfulness concepts. Ideal for beginners, but those familiar with the topic might find it repetitive.
