I was looking to replace some of my athletic shorts & came across these while scrolling through one night. I read reviews & decided to give them a shot.First of all I was a little skeptical on the size chart. I usually wear a Large or XL short. I followed the chart & it suggested XXL. Turns out that was the perfect fit. They stay in place without the drawstrings tied, but stay in better place tied up. I probably could have ordered the XL & been fine but i love the fit these provide.These are made of polyester but very comfortable. They fit all they way to tops of my knees & loose around the lower thigh. They are very comfortable both fit & material wise. The pockets are nice & deep. There is a loophole for a workout towel & a pocket for a cell phone. The cell phone pocket is way to small for any phone I’ve owned since way back to my blackberry years ago but I suppose if you had an older style phone it may fit. It’s not like I’m not putting my phone in the deep side pockets anyway so it’s not a big deal.They came pretty quickly to me using just free shipping. I was pretty happy about that because I couldn’t wait to see if they were comfortable & going to fit.All & all I feel this was a good purchase, I’d probably buy them again.

Size:The size fit perfectly. Theyre a little long for shorts but not too long. Material is soft. Super comfy and exactly what I was looking for

They’re decent shorts however the drawstring in one pair completely broke after one use. The draw strings are two parts - one on each side - and are sewn inside the waistband at the mid seam that runs down the entirety of the side of the shorts. Keep this in mind as this is likely a failure point.The shorts are still wearable but if you have items in the pockets the shorts will start to fall down without the drawstring.Overall they’re good shorts for the price. Certainly good enough to knock around in or wear around the house.

They're okay if you need throw away shorts but they come with a few issues. For starters they're super long so I hope you're at least 6'3 or they're gonna end halfway down your shins. The other issue is the drawstrings are so varied, the red pair feels like its absurdly long while the grey pair gives barely any slack. It might be due to me using warm wash but the difference in the drawstrings feels like 5ft, its very disproportionate. Washing them the first time was actually comical, you're gonna get frayed loose threads EVERYWHERE after the first wash. I actually thought the first wash destroyed all 4 but they're still usable enough. For the price its worth it for 4 pairs but sheesh they're pretty rough. They're really thin and if you look hard enough you can actually see your skin through them so if you're a commando I'd pass on these. The only good thing I can say is, the price is solid and they're very breathable.

For the price, they seem ok. Large size is spot on and fit well right at the inseam is right at the knee for me.It remains to be seen how they hold up under several wash and dry cycles.Good for summer.

Did you watch "Idiocracy" and think to yourself , " Wow, that part where they just throw away the clothes they are wearing and grab a new set from a dispenser on the wall sure was swell. I could use that in my life!"If so, then these are the shorts for you. Disregard the one star review, these should easily be a 4 star for your needs. Not 5, because you will need to provide your own wall mounted disposable clothing dispenser. Also, there is not a single Carl's JR ad anywhere on the shorts. -1 star.For anyone else who intends to wear their clothing more than once, avoid these shorts.First, the shorts I received were not the design I ordered. I had ordered color set " A " , all black shorts with different trim. I received set " B " , blue, black, silver, and grey shorts. I had intended to use them right away, so I decided to keep them and order another set of the all black shorts. The 2nd set was the same as the first, So I assume there is some sort of labeling issue at the warehouse.I did look through reviews and see a couple people mention they started to fray after washing, but there will still plenty of good reviews so I decided to buy them anyways. Just to be safe, I decided to hand wash, and hang dry the shorts to avoid any issues. You can see from the attached picture how effective that was. That was taken after a single use, and a gentle hand washing. I understand they are pretty inexpensive shorts, but disintegrating after a single use is pretty unacceptable. I have similarly priced clothing items that have lasted through a year or more of use.Oddly, Both pairs of black shorts ( one each from both of the 4-packs I purchased ) have remained intact through multiple uses and washes. Only the grey, silver, and blue shorts started to come apart after the first washing. However 2 out of 8 is not enough to make this worth the purchase.
