Beyond impressed.
I don’t write too many reviews but I’m so happy with this plant that I thought I’d share.I had this super old stand in 1980s cherry in my daughter’s bedroom that I’ve always hated. I just never felt like buying another one. I saw this paint on YouTube and thought I would give it a try on this nightstand. The results are outstanding. The paint is really easy to work with. It’s very thick. I did use two coats just to be safe. Although I don’t think it really needed two coats. The second coat went on in no time. Beyond impressed. I don’t have any before pictures. I forgot to do that. But just imagine an old worn out ugly nightstand. Just a note: I did use liquid deglosser/sander before I painted. The up close photo shows you just how smooth the stuff dries after rolling.

This paint is great to work with!
This paint is the best! This is the second time I’ve used it on a project, and I couldn’t be happier. So easy to apply, without having to do the labour intensive sanding and priming work. I was able to refurbish my nightstands (see image of before and after) and save myself the hassle and money of buying a new set. Be patient and “stipple” the areas that you don’t roll - the final finish will be nice and even. I did 2 coats, and have leftover paint kept at the ready in case I get any little nicks. I would describe this colour “Pebble” as a medium taupe. I will come on here and give a Sherwin Williams comparable colour. That’s the hardest part about ordering, is not having a paint chip to hold in your space with your correct lighting. Luckily, Amazon is great about returns. I ordered the small size container and it was plenty to do 2 coats on both nightstands and I still have leftover in the jar.Side note: for this project, I also ordered the colour “Sand” and would describe it as a light creamy colour with the tiniest hint of pink, so it’s a warmer creamy white. It’s a lovely colour, too, but not right for me this time.Overall - Excellent paint - I’ll be buying it a third time for next year’s projects.

Great
This paint is amazing. All I do is clean and slightly sand is good to go. It drives pretty quickly, but it does need to dry at least 24 hours to avoid Nick’s, I bought the same paint for my cabinets whole gallon and I’mma tell you they’re almost done and I don’t even have close to half of that pain gone. It’s amazing. Definitely worth the money.

I was hopeful, super bummed
Don’t trust what they say! It does not stick to a surface that hasn’t been sanded! Three layers later and it peeled right off in one sheet. The smell doesn’t travel far from the bucket, but it is some kind of toxic smell. I haven’t smelt before. Whatever you do.SAND YOUR PROJECT FIRST

Easy to use, but
Very easy to use. Directions say to use a roller we used a paint brush & it came out fine, no brush strokes. Paint is thick, we did 2 coats. It has blue under tones. When first painted it was fine & then after it dryed overnight it more blue looking to me.

Beyond amazing paint for my cabinets!
Amazing!! I wanted to paint my wet bar cabinets and railing that were a light blonde/pickeles oak color. I didn’t want to sand and stain. This stuff is awesome. One small jar got the first coat on my entire wet bar, loft railing and stairs. And second coat on bottom cabinets. Takes 2 coats and the brush strokes disappear. Looks beautiful. I used a mocha brown color and so happy with it. Easy to wipe off mistakes. It is very smelly like ammonia make sure to ventilate - it disperses as it drys and drysbwuickly. Make sure to wait 24-48 hrs for second coat otherwise you get streaks. Just ordered more.

Did the trick and was easy to use.
I was skeptical as I was covering the most god awful baby blue bathroom counter top. It turned out fabulous. Took two good solid thick coats but it looks great! I did put a very thin layer of clear epoxy on top for a little added shine. Absolutely use a microfiber roller though!!

Not good for very old furniture
I have refinished furniture the traditional way, meaning sanding, priming and painting. I needed to paint my sideboard quicky so I thought I would give Beyond Paint a try. My sideboard is an antique, mahogany wood. I cleaned it very well with Simple Green as instructed, then rinsed it several times with vinegar and water, let it air dry for 4 hours. I chose the off white and started to use the paint with the roller as directed and the chip brush. The first coat went on well, except for two areas on the top of my piece. The paint just started sliding off. I continued with the rest of the sideboard. I let it dry and gave it another coat. Again the paint would not adhere to these areas. I wiped the paint off of the areas and gave a second coat elsewhere. I let it dry overnight. There is definitely bleed through and not full coverage with two coats. I was able to cover up the areas that would not take the paint, but you can still see the wood coming through. My piece would definitely need 4 coats of this paint for a truly opaque finish. It looks fine for now as I want the somewhat distressed look. We will see how it holds up. For me I found that you cannot drag the paint with the roller or put pressure like with other paints. Just let the paint roll. You can tap the brush in the corners and the paint will self level once dry. Overall, it did take less time than usual refinishing, but I really should have sanded my piece prior to applying paint. It saved me time, clean up was easy and I am pleased with the result. I used 1 pint for a sideboard and have a drop left. My furniture really sucked up the paint. Not all furniture will come out the way those you tube videos show.
