Burn pot repair
It fit fine. Had to drill hole in bottom of pot to put heat sink on that was on old pot. But was able to. Had to take alot apart to put in.

Ironwood 650
I have installed the pot in an Ironwood 650, which is the first gen of the Ironwood. It is also identically with the Costco model Redland. The pot has about the same size as the old. It has only 7 air holes instead of the 9 of the original pot. Not sure that it makes a difference. I tested by heating the Traeger up to 500 degrees during freezing weather, and it worked. The igniter looked like the original one. The original was rusted into the old pot - and I could not remove it without destroying it.To remove the pot, you remove the four wing-nuts, lift up the pot, and then turn a little bit to the left, and pull it out with the left side higher, so to clear the igniter. You remove the four screws from the control panel. Behind the control panel, the wire to the igniter is zip-tied. You cut the zip-tie carefully, not to damage the wire. This allows you to pull the igniter far enough out to reach its connector. You install the igniter that comes with the put to protrude 1/4” and tighten the phillips screw. Connect the end connector into the cable that you have pulled out. Install the pot the same way you pulled it out in reverse. Put the wing nuts back. Now, on the control board, pull the igniter wire back, so that the connector pulls into the shaft under the auger away from the heat of the pot, and secure with a new zip-tie, just the way it was originally. Put the control board back, and you are done. It is 30 minutes worth of work.Watch out that there are different igniter rods for different models. Order the correct model - from the number one-star reviews to judge, people regularly order the wrong part.

This upgrade is a must if you've had your Traeger for a few years
So far this has been the best thing I've bought for my Traeger! I took out my rusted pot and installed this one and I feel much better knowing that the bottom isn't going to fall out anytime soon! The installation process was pretty quick and painless, but I took a bit more time because I was also replacing my temperature probe. But now that all these parts are replaced and brand new, I hope to get a lot more years out of this thing!

Not good so far...
5/7/25 - Product came quickly and is packaged well! Install was what I expected and thoroughly cleaned my Traeger 780 pro in the process. So far screen says "not igniting". I have gone through all the protocol's, tested the electrical, the auger, the induction fan and tried two different kinds of new pellets. As of 5/14 it is still not working. I have written the company's support email and will give feedback as time progresses.
