Original Penguin Mens Slippers, Microsuede Venetian Moccasin Slipper,Men's Size 8 to 13

I initially loved these slippers right after I received them at the start of the winter. But now, having worn them for about three months, all indoors, these are coming apart at the seams on all sides. See the attached pictures. I even sized up for comfort so it's not that they are too tight. Unfortunately it's too late to return them to Amazon so I'll just have to suck it up and get a better pair for next winter.[ORIGINAL REVIEW:I am a big fan of Original Penguin; however, without any reviews of these slippers, this was a blind purchase for me. No idea whether these are authentic though, as they came in a bag and not in a box. They are warm and snug, the outer material feels like flannel and the inside is neither too firm or too cushy. I've had them on for a few hours and they don't make my feet sweaty, although that might change once the heat is cranked up in the house. They do run a bit small, so get one size up for increased comfort if you want to leave them on all day. I have wide feet and the next size up fits perfectly.]

Perfect fit, I’m happy so far. My last pair started falling apart after a week (Not this Brand). So I searched again for a indoor slipper that can go outside if needed. Not to wear outside for long, just to get paper or sweep steps Etc...... so I find the penguin brand and I believe they have been around awhile. We will see, the insoles have a lot of cushion to help with comfort. The soles have enough grip to go outside and stay on one’s feet. So far all is good. I’ll report back in a few weeks with good of bad information but I hope I’m done searching for slippers. Update (23 April 2020) He plum wore them out in about six months. I can’t figure out how to load a picture showing current condition. They were worn every day and went outside also many times. I believe that if they had been used properly they would of lasted quite a bit longer but every day, all day just wore em out. I would truly recommend these. The reason they a worn out is because the person wearing them dragged there feet. They are well worth the thirty nine dollar price tag. Four Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

These slippers fit perfect. True to size. I like that they are narrow as well. Nothing worse than a sloppy slipper. Plenty of padding, with rubber soles. I might just wear these everywhere!Update: I bought these slippers 4 months ago. And they are already falling apart. I'm pretty bummed because they are so comfortable. The toes are blown out. The sides have also got sloppy and stretched out. And the rubber sole is also gone in the toe area. They never left the house. Maybe I'm just hard on stuff or maybe they aren't made to last. Super disappointing.

With the thousands of choices of slippers you could buy, why these? While I can't give you a thorough comparison, I can say that my purchase of these Penguin slippers was preceded by a purchase (and return) of much more expensive Vionic slippers, and these are way more comfortable. I like that they aren't super bulky, so you can wear socks with them, thus preventing that inevitable stink. But they're also plush enough to be worn with bare feet. I got the red plaid ones and my wife is surprised that I had such good taste in choosing them. I have literally worn them every day since I got them.

You're shopping for a father's day gift, birthday gift, or holiday present for that guy in your life that loves comfort but doesn't know how to treat himself? Get these. The rubber sole means these slippers are functional even when trudging down the driveway to grab the paper or drag in the trashcans, while the warm inside make them perfect for kicking your feet up while sipping some morning coffee.Plush interior of these is lower than some other brands which helps to avoid getting random debris or dirt inside - that said they are tough to clean (never tried a machine wash) but have responded while when just using a vacuum to such out anything that accumulates.Loose enough to wear with warm socks so you really can just slip them on regardless of how prepared you are.

I have rarely been able to find a pair of slippers that are wearable. My needs are simple - a snug shoe that won't slip off my foot when I'm walking. I would have given these a 4, but for a premium product I had higher expectations. They fit very tightly and are very narrow. I have narrow feet and these are snugger than most narrow shoes. There is a ridge of material around the bottom on the inside that you can distinctly feel, making it not that comfortable tied in with the snugness. Otherwise, it gets the job done in an acceptable way.

The picture is very deceiving, as your toes will be uncomfortable because the depth of the shoe in the toe area is too small. The rest of the shoe fits ok, so I'm hoping to get the toe to stretch out. It feels ok when I'm standing and pressing down on the sole, but when sitting my toes get numb.

I normally wear size 10 or 10.5 W, depending on the shoe, sneaker, boot, etc. After reading the reviews, I ordered size 12. Perfect fit! They are very warm, which means I'll remove them when sitting to prevent excessive sweating. Problem with most slippers is they are too warm. These are a good compromise.They are attractive and comfy. The foam bottom is just enough. Like a rubber bottom to wear outside occasionally.As for durability, which several reviewers criticized, time will tell.
