Unbeatable Value
These are infinitely better than expensive grid tie arrays. Easy install just plug and play. Ive actually got 700 watts up in series-parallel. My roof pitch faces east and west so I have 3 to catch the morning sun and 4 to catch the afternoon sun. Working great the voltage is about maxed out around noon in the summer but I think the mppt keeps it low enough. Got it hooked up to a 400ah battery. Powers a 6000btu window ac all day or a 500 watt space heater for several hours a day in winter. Also have a charging station and wifi it runs. Electric bill is $100 less per month. The mppt is really great. It will charge even on the cloudiest days. Very handy during 2 power outages already. For the money the value is unbeatable.

I get 1/3 the capacity even on a cloudy day!
On a cloudy day I still get over 100 watts of charging from this 400 watt system, anywhere from 127 to 160 watts, yes, even on a cloudy day. No one told me that would happen! Works well, except it shows the temperature as 77 degrees all of the time. It would be nice if it would not try to charge my lithium 100 Ah batteries when it is too cold out. Works well otherwise. People say your dead when the sun doesn't shine - not true! I installed these flat on my cargo trailer roof (not even angled to the sun) and this is very adequate to charge and run my tools. Charging one M18 battery takes 45 watts, so I can charge up 2 at a time easy peasy without even draining the 100 Ah main batteries even on a cloudy day! I have the 3000 watt Renogy inverter with this, and can run my air compressor for an hour off those. I should get another 100 Ah battery, as the two struggle to start the compressor, but anyway, on a sunny day it charges those 2 100 Ah lithium batteries from 11V right back up to 14V after using my air compressor for a while. I've run my shop vac, 6 inch finish orbital sander, LED lights, etc. for as long as I've needed to no problem. In a camper, along with 3 100 Ah batteries, this might even keep you in electric hot water. I haven't tried that, not yet, but if you made toast and a pot of coffee in the morning, this would charge your main batteries back up even on a cloudy day!

Nice kit for a camper van
I'm happy with the installation kit and function of this package. More than adequate for my camper van. No issues.

Great kit, light on instruction
I used this kit to upgrade an aging 125 watt panel with a PWM charge controller to this 200 watt kit with an MPPT controller. This is a great kit that includes everything- panels, mounts, bolts, nuts and washers needed, wiring, and and includes the pieces to hook the panels up in either series or parallel. To complete an RV install you’d need sealers and likely need to drill some holes to run wires.Everything seems very high quality with a good feel. The MPPT controller is sturdily constructed with a nice heatsink. Setting it up was easy, as was connecting to the Bluetooth module. My only gripe is manuals. Inside the box there is only a manual for the charge controller. It would have been really nice to have an install guide or something similar.

Easy to install and use
Put this on a small travel trailer. Super easy to install and put into use. I have used them for months now and I am amazed that they work well also with not too much sun hitting them. I only power fridge/freezer, lights and small stuff thus cloudy days has not been an issue.Anyway- this kit is well worth the price.

DON'T TRUST RENOGY!, BEWARE! Of 3RD PARTY SELLERS ON AMAZON!. I feel robbed and cheated:
When designing the solar system for my RV, I wanted to get a system that would give me the best value for the dollar. So I elected to install 5 100 watt panels and use the Renogy 40a MPPT controller. Before ordering the components I called Renogy Customer Service and asked one of their technicians if this controller would support 5 panels. This person said that it would. So I put the system together and it wouldn't work. I called Renogy and told them and we were able to determine that the charging voltage was too high (Over 100 volts. The charge controller required that the voltage cannot exceed 100 volts. They never said anything about there being a "maximum allowed charge voltage" or anything like that for this unit in any of their descriptions or documentation or when I talked to them. I even ran this by one of their technicians just to be sure. What more could I do? Oh well, I will just return the 40 amp unit and get a unit that will work with my system: or so I thought. So I went to Renogy and I asked for an exchange or refund. They flatly refused and referred me to Amazon. Amazon referred me back to Renogy saying that they were a 3rd party seller and I would have to deal with them. The Amazon representative connected us up to Renogy, and they hung up on us. Obviously they are not going to issue me a refund or allow me to trade up. WHAT A BURN !!! I said BEWARE of 3rd Party SELLERS on AMAZON because if there is a problem, you might run the risk of getting into the endless loop of AMAZON referring you to the seller, and the seller refusing to work with you, and then sending you back to AMAZON.I feel robbed and cheated!!! Anyone need a 40 amp charge controller??? Renogy products were good quality, but be prepared for them to not stand behind their products. If you look at other product reviews for them you will find I am not the first. Beware of Renogy's technical ability: They were the ones who said that this charge controller would work for me: I didn't know so I asked them, yet they want me to lose all that money when they were at fault. Renogy has some great products, but I do not want to continue doing business with them. Renogy's offer to settle was no refund, and that they would give me a 15% reduction on the charge controller I needed. The trouble was that their price was $405 which was far more than the $181 price of comparable units on AMAZON.

Excellent set up for our pop-up camper.
This was easy to install and works well. We use it for keeping the battery charged when we are camping off grid. It powers our 12v cooler/fridge, the LED lights, and the fan on the gas furnace. It did not have enough amperage to keep up with the 10 amp draw on the old absorption fridge.

Solar panel
This is exactly as described, it arrived as promised, appears to be well made, and a good value for the moneyI just wish they would put a packing slip in the package. This came in the manufacturers packaging 👍Limited or no single use plastic 👍No polystyrene foam packing (styrofoam) 👍👍
