they are of great quality, I bought lots of them, only issue is taking these out of a port sometimes is hard because the clip/cover that you need to push to take out is very slippery and you need to actually look at it to make sure you are holding it right. otherwise, I really recommend them

The product is made out of good quality and it’s enough for what it’s supposed to do.The issue is that both end are very chunky, so if you have a TV like me that’s hanged up on the wall, it will not fit if the cable plugs in perpendicular to the TV. Other then that, it’s good value for money for sure!

I always got myself CAT7 or CAT6 ethernet because there are so many low-quality CAT5e ethernet cables on the market and they really hurt my Internet performance. I am quite surprised to see that Amazon Basics can offer CAT7 cables at such a low cost. When I plug in directly into two of my PCs with a 1Gb ethernet card to test it, the latency and throughput can almost reach the max. So I am very happy with this purchase. However, when opening the package, I noticed that the cable was tightly wound within the box. For me, this is a bit of a concern as I would have preferred if the cable arrived with less curvature. However, despite this initial observation, the throughput and latency for the cable seem OK to me.

On this cable, I get 800 to 900MB speed on 1000MB connection. I tried with other cables (cat 6), they stuck below 700MB speed. This may seem less difference, but if you use this wire to connect to a extender which serves multiple devices then it makes huge difference. at least in my case it did. I'm happy with this cable.

Take the longer 10 feet one instead of 3 feet. You may think the short is fine but it will feel small later.
