Got it as a Christmas gift for 6 year twins. They absolutely loved it! One twin loved the science aspect, the other loved the art of molding the planets and the colors. Great learning tool overall.

This was a gift. Child said best present ever.

My son enjoyed assembling the display and creating his own planets with the clay; we loved the brochure outlining instructions and facts regarding the planets, as well. My only concern is that we had to utilize glue for the base in order to keep if from collapsing.

What I really liked about the set is that every detail works very well, the planets rotate easily. The mechanism is great! And my child was so concentrated! Colored everything himself and built it. He was very proud and showed it to his friends.

My daughter was interested in astronomy for a while, and I got her this kit so she could see how solar system actually works. She spent a lot of time coloring the planets, putting everything together and creating new space games!

This would be wonderful if it came with all the arms, right now my model can only have 7 planetsUpdate: the company is great and I was able to get another one so I could fix it. My son loves the set

This is not a durable play with it toy. Actually it does not even work for display. The base material is cardboard. Our twins destroyed it in two days just rotating the planets. The roundness of the planets and their size depends on who ever is putting it together. Planet proportionality is subjective. You have to mix the colors to get them close to the planet’s. If there’s any value it’s you get a chance to play with your kids in a subject area of their interest.
