I really like this lamp. In fact, I just ordered a second one. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the part that holds the shade was cross threaded when it arrived and couldn't be unscrewed to assemble the lamp. I contacted the company and they immediately sent a replacement part that arrived in less than a week. Great customer service, they just need someone to do quality control and check things before they leave the factory.

I ordered two of these lamps for my living room. One of them came perfectly fine and looks great, however, the second one came with a dented base and had it’s lamp shade screw tightened too much that it wouldn’t open so I couldn’t put on the shade. Talked to amazon support and they said I had to return it and order it again essentially as they don’t have the option of sending a replacement screw. Frustrating to say the least.

Solution for elderly spouse who couldn't twist lamp switches. Very attractive!

The joints don't screw in tightly causing the lamp to tilt. You have to keep tightening the joints. You don't know that the joints don't tighten until you unwrap the whole lamp. Then it's too late to pack it back up (which is virtually impossible).

I recently changed my living room furniture color scheme from a reddish brown wood to black. That meant I needed to change away from my brassy looking lamps to something in a black or grey hue (note the pictures are against my older furniture).. I got this lamp. It set up quite easily out of the box. I threw two 60W LED bulbs into this which more than provided enough light. My few mods to make this look better were to leave the pullchains in the "ON" position, and then wrap them up so they can't be seen dangling. I then attached this to a plug in touch dimmer (there are plenty here on Amazon) and was good to go. In my humble opinion it improved the aesthetic to hid the chains and I got dimming capability).

I ordered this floor lamp for our guest room, which needed some additional light in there. I love the tall, slender design is space-saving. The base is nice and heavy and it's not easy to accidentally tip over. The chain pull slides easily. The design is nice and crisp. One small detail to keep in mind is that the design does have a way of capturing dust in the tiny nooks and crannies. However, if you don't mind frequent dusting, this is a beautiful, functional lamp with clean lines and a classic look.

Bought as a gift. Once opened and plugged in found that wiring us bad. Can no longer return. Waste of money. Unhappy with wiring quality. Unsafe

This lamp is not only attractive and modern but fits perfectly between our chairs and is so easy to operate for both of us with the pull chains on each side.We also purchased the matching table lamp for the other side of the room.
