After ordering this product, I have gotten bed bugs. Very small amount, but I have not traveled, have not had visitors, or brought anything else into my home that could have brought on an infestation. This is the only change I have made. After reading a few recent reviews that say it looks like small stains or dried boogers, perhaps dead bugs? I have been overly cautious and quite frankly OCD about cleanliness and inspecting for bed bugs my entire life. Can't believe this has happened and this is the only thing I can think of that could have brought them into my home.

This comforter is so comfortable, I can hardly notice the deep loneliness in my life. Arrived promptly as well.

*First impressions*Presentation was excellent, the little zipper bag was easy to open and the ribbon around the bag was cute :) As everyone else has said don't be worried when you see the box and it's size, they vacuum packed it like crazy and it will IMMEDIATELY poof up once it's out of the bag. Package came quick, easy to open, professionally presented.*Perception of quality, softness, weight, etc*The quality is what I would expect from a $300 comforter. Nice stitching, soft material (without feeling cheap or flimsy) and great detail with the little loops which are not only on every corner but in the middle as well. The loops only show or pop out when you need them otherwise they lay flat on the fabric.The weight is heavy but light at the same time. Don't ask me how this is, I can't explain it! Light enough to not be suffocating but definitely warm enough to make it very hard to want to get up in the morning.*Experience*After sleeping with it for two nights now (first with a duvet cover and then without) I couldn't be more impressed. This thing is so soft and puffy it's really like being under a cloud. I recommend forgoing the duvet cover though because you don't get to feel the softness of the comforter and for me personally, it was a little too warm.The second night I slept on it without the duvet cover and it was unbelievably soft and cozy. The single most comfortable thing I have ever slept under. Coupled with my memory foam mattress I felt like a queen!*Overall*Soft, inexpensive, warm, fluffy, quality, AWESOME!!! This is worth every penny I spent and I refuse to ever spent hundreds of dollars on another comforter again.

After reading a zillion reviews on differnt items, and lets face it; many people will not leave reviews unless they have somethjng bad to say, I must say I am extremely happy with this comforter. It is beautiful. Super Comfortable , and the perfect weight. I have been sleeping better all week since I got this. I'm in Florida and sleep during the day as I am night shift and this is the first blanket I have had in years to keep me cool and comfortable enough to not wake up tossing and turning from heat. I have recommended to many of my friends and family and may purchase this as Christmas gifts for those on my list who are hard to shop for. It is a good price and quality comforter.

Lots of reviews mentioned this being a light weight blanket. That told me next to nothing. Do I need blankets in addition to this? Is it the opposite of a weighted blanket? Will it blow away in a strong breeze?? So. Here’s a bit more context to it being light weight. We keep our bedroom at about 66-62 degrees through the night. The first few weeks it’s been typical New England outside ranging between 68-32 degrees. I’m the type of person that can be sweltering and just a sheet doesn’t feel covered enough. If it’s cold enough in the winter I’ll often border claustrophobia piling on the blankets. This had enough weight to it to be comfortable without being too heavy or too light, Goldilocks would be pleased. We haven't had to add extra blankets nor sticking feet out to cool off. Size wise, could be wider, see not about the length fellas. (Had to). It tucked in at the foot of the bed but just barely made it over the sides, maybe four inches if I’m being generous. Yes I could have measured before hand but that just didn’t transpire. I’d like to take a side bar to mention packaging. It came in a box within the amazon box. Then a bag within a bag. The first bag made mention of basically be careful cutting open the bag so as not to cut the blanket. What was actually clever though was they included a letter opener tool that easily opened the two bags and had their logo and will absolutely live in our drawer to open mail so kudos for that simple extra thought. Back to the blanket. We washed it upon receipt, before putting it on the bed and it held up fine and fluffed right up. It’s not quite as puffy as a traditional down blanket but no geese were harmed for this blanket so fair trade. The fabric is hard to describe but is nice and soft. The length does add to its coziness as their was plenty to snuggle in at the top. I would buy this blanket again without question.

After ordering this comforter we are war with a bed bug infestation. Most likely we receive a comforter that had been returned and was full of bed bugs. There is no other explanation as to why we bed bugs. No trips were taken, and no one has visited us. The comforter is the only new item in our equation. Order from a different company!

I recently bought a new bed and searched everywhere for a comforter I liked. I read all the reviews on this and thought it would be perfect. I received it quickly and upon unboxing I placed in the washer like I do with all new bedding. I washed it per the instructions and dried it as suggested. When I retrieved it from my dryer there were orange marks on the white side and it was stiff in some spots. I now need to look elsewhere for a comforter for my bed. I had such high hopes with this.

If you're looking for a basic comforter at a low price then you're fine with this. You'll want to run it through the dryer after unsealing from the vacuum pack because it's quite stiff out of the bag. Even then the comforter doesn't form to the body well. It wants to lay in straight bent angles leaving spaces of open air around the body. If you like a comforter that wraps around you this may not be your top pick. If you're looking for a light, cool, breathable comforter this is a good choice. I purchased the queen size and wished I had measured because this comforter is definitely on the smallest end of queen size. Being 6'4" that's important. The comforter itself reminds me of a summer season sleeping bag without the zipper. And when I wake up several times a night with it shaped more like a tent not touching my upper body I almost dream that I'm covered up with blocks of Styrofoam. I'm hoping washing and drying a few cycles will cure this. It's thin enough to easily fit in an average size dryer, good if you wash your blankets often. I do, being obsessed with clean everything. Overall, I give this a passing grade because some people like this type of comforter and the price point is great for the quality.

I ordered this for my husband who is allergic to down, I also used to work in high bedding design, selling silk covered eiderdown duvets and 1200tc linens, this product is EXCELLENT it poofs you the baffles as soon as you unseal the bag, it is lovely to sleep under and so lightweight, very much like a down duvet, I would highly recommend!! Little warm in summer but still just as useable daily on the bed.

This is a very comfortable and stylish blanket/comforter, however the King size is not big/wide enough to adequately serve as a King blanket. When the bed is made, this blanket barely hangs down 4 inches on sides. This clearly looks bad as every mattress is at least 12 to 16 inches thick not even including the box spring if you have one. So this blanket leaves lots of sheet and mattress showing. But the main issue with not being wide enough is that once you add 2 people under it, you better sleep close together in the middle or you’re going to only be partly covered! This actually works ok for us as I’m always hot and sleep with just a sheet, but it’s a struggle to get any blanket the odd time I want it. This item is simply not wide enough. Order one bed-size up from your bed and you’ll be happy, but clearly you can’t do this for a King bed.

I bought this because the reviews and pictures looked good. And it’s great! Soft and fluffy and looks great on the bed. Covers the bed well. I love it and the sale price was great.

Gave it a bit more time and I am going to stand by my 2* but I can explain a bit better now.As seen in the attached picture it isn't any fancy blanket. It's 100% polyester inside and out.When I originally bought it there was a claim that it is breathable and good for the summer. It is not. It is very warm. They have since taken out that line in the description.It is one of the softest fluffiest comforters ever and it is wonderful for that.If you want a warm fluffy soft comforter this is a good blanket. Heck it makes a good blanket to sleep on top of.If you want a breathable cool comforter/duvet this is not for you.If you want a fancy blanket made of anything but polyester, this blanket is not for you.
