Super cheap, easy to use and maintain. Great solution to cut down on the pool labor.
The media could not be loaded. Compared to the robot design that uses cords, this is 1000% better. Battery lasts about the 90 minutes they say, it never gets stuck, handles curved walls and reverses at the right times. Gets all the sand, rocks, leaves, and dead bugs down to the granular level. Very good design that is very simple and should provide a long life of usage.Pays for itself after the first few uses. It does park itself next to a wall which makes for easy retrieval.Couldn't be happier with the purchase. Even when it breaks, I'll be buying the same thing. Hopefully it lasts at least a year, then that would be acceptable lifespan for the cost. We use our pool year round so it's going to be going out every couple of days and thus running nearly 200 cycles a year. The only known limitation to be aware of is that it won't clean the walls like some "corded robot versions". That's a small price to pay considering the cost is so much less and it does a great job. I also noticed that when you use this thing every couple of days, the overall water quality is better and more clear, thus the walls don't need to be scrubbed as often either. My algae has been less of an issue as well now that it's keeping all the bugs and plant debris out at a more regular schedule.Highly recommend this little pool robot.TIP: don't store it wheels down for too long, it will bend the brush and then you might not get as good of performance. I bought a spare brush (for when the original wears out) and store the entire robot suspended on a bucket so the underside brush doesn't get bent up while it's charging and being stored.

Seems to do a pretty good job!
Using this in our 20- ft, round, above ground pool, and have high hopes that it will work as well when we upgrade to a larger pool. This little vacuum scoots right along. As water is sucked in through the bottom, it is filtered, then jets out the back, propelling the bot forward. When it hits a wall, the motion triggers the propulsion to switch direction, shooting out the front and reversing its path. You can tweak the path by turning a couple knobs to change the angle of the jet, but it still seems to take a kind of random path. (Sort of like the old screensaver where the ball “bounces” off the screen edge…) That said, it has still been doing a pretty good job of cleaning up the pool bottom. It isn’t meant to clean the sides of the pool—only the floor. Easy to use, easy to clean. So far, charges great and has enough charge to do the job.

Worked Great for 6 Months and Then Dead - Buyer Beware!! Poor Warranty Support Options
I have a smaller, in ground, fiberglass salt water pool. Was looking for something that would keep the bottom cleared up (I don't have the pool covered). This seemed to do the job for the first 6 months or so and then it stopped charging.Since this product has a 1 year warranty, I contacted customer support and they asked me to ship it back so they could diagnose the issue. They could not fix it and offered me a refurbished one as a replacement. Since this process took two months, I had already purchased another brand as a replacement and when given the option for a refirb, I declined and asked for a refund.Instead, they offered me $50 (1/6th of the purchase price) because they said I had the item for 3/4s of a year already. If you read the manual that came with the unit, their is no mention of a depreciation schedule or alternative payout program. It just states that there is a 100% warranty for the first year. So perhaps I am missing something, but a warranty is a warranty, and, if at no fault of my own, they can't provide a new replacement product or a full refund, what is the purpose of the warranty?!?!?So beware!!! Aiper does not stand behind their product like Polaris and others. Buy at your own risk!

Awesome—- beast of a machine
The media could not be loaded. I rarely leave reviews so the company of this machine should really really know they did awesome with this cleaner !!!!!!! I live in a super sandy area in south texas , sugar sand as far as the eye can see , this summer has been brutal so we decided to put in a above ground pool , well when the wind blows hard, or my German Shepard has the zoomies , the sand kicks up , and directly in the pool , I had bought the smaller version ( the round one ) and it worked ok but would get stuck on any wrinkle and then it would shut off so I sent it back . The company refunded my money fast, and I bought the bigger one , I tell you what , this sucker bill sucks harder than a old school Kirby or rainbow vacuum that came right out the box. I have some dips and wrinkles that collect sand and debris , leaves from the oak trees , and even cicadas that decide to take a dip and can’t get out , all gone , if you want Rosie the robot for your pool , with lot lizard suction this is the one , don’t let 100$ date night decision keep you from countless hours of the game while you vacuum the pool ….. it’s worth the extra 100$ . As Nike would say just do it !!!!!! It’s very easy to use and super easy to clean

Great little pool cleaning robot
I was a little hesitant to purchase this pool cleaner. I have a 38' Grecian style in-ground pool and read a few reviews that the robot couldn't make it back into the shallow end once it went down the slope. As long as the robot (we named it Orca, well, because it looks like an orca) is fully charged, it has no issues going up and down the slope. I put it in the pool every morning, it runs for 90 minutes, I hose out the tray and then plug it back in. In the event there is a lot of debris in the pool, I may drop it back in again later in the day. I charge it overnight but I'm pretty sure it fully charges in about 4 hours. It may be less. The robot isn't capable of going up the walls so I just brush any algae etc. down before setting the robot off. And this isn't an everyday occurrence, just when there seems to be algae on the walls. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. I purposely waited a couple of months before adding a review so I could judge accordingly. Enjoy your robot!

Exactly (almost) what I was looking for
This is a great robotic pool cleaner. I have tried a few and what I like about this one is the speed of cleaning and the cordless nature of the robot. I like to keep the pool clean on a daily basis and what a convenience it is to be able to use it on a daily basis with no cords to fumble through and cady to pull! I said "almost" in my title because I wish either they could provide a climbing feature (but of course at an increased price) or drop the price as importation cost adds significantly to the total cost.
