Plug and play, works well
Thought this was worth a go to improve WiFi reception in the garden. Had similar products in the past that have just not worked but this instantly gave us WiFi in our log cabin. We situated it at a power outlet near to the rear of the house and it provides strong reception at the cabin 15m away. Very compact and doesn't occupy much room where it's plugged in. No dropouts, just plug it in and go

Very impressed
Had it for a few days now and am really impressed. Bought as didn't want security risks from one of the Chinese manufactured devicesIt works perfectly on the house network - since it mimics the router you don't have to change any of the settings on the devices already connected. Really easy to set up. The app has some really good features including checking the signal in remote corners. Definitely recommend

Decent solution for medium usage.
Set up a little tricky but otherwise boosts signal as described. Those with larger houses or say gamers requiring higher bandwidth/speed may well need something different.

Great extender - gets the job done.
This is our second extender of this type for our new build. Insulation was making WiFi from the router location a bit problematic. Now with these easy to set up extenders, we no longer have an issue. I’d buy them again if required.

Unreliable
Very unreliable. Strong signal but frequently (most of the time) lost the 5Ghz. Very disappointed, e-waste now.Swapped for a TP-Link which has been rock solid. Also just an extender. This is not mesh anything.

Neat solution but didn't work for me...
Despite having a Netgear Orbi 960 series router and two satellites serving our home, our garden room at the end of our garden still has a bit of a weak WiFi signal... so I thought I'd try this [EAX12] as a cheaper alternative to buying another satellite. It does work... but it's 75% down on speed and it drops connection frequently. I tried a number of changes to the router and various settings... but it was just too unreliable a connection to hook anything critical to it, such as a security camera or even an IoT switch. I also tried the larger, more expensive but similarly performing EAX20 but that was also quite very unreliable. All of them were returned. A shame... as I imagine these work well in some smaller properties or homes with paper thin walls... but not mine. It's looking like I'll eventually have to fork out for an additional RBSE960 after all...

WiFi booster/extender
This was easy to setup, press the WPS button on both the extender and the router, et viola! Repeat the process if you have dual band (2.4 ghz and 5 ghz), and it's all set. It needs to be positioned between the router and the blind spot, this is important, as putting it in another blind spot will not give the required outcome. I found a good spot by walking around with my phone, and getting the best signal between the two areas. I then plugged it in there (I had to use an extension cable, for optimum signal), after setting it up next to the router. This actually gave me the signal that I required (excellent and good, constantly), in the area I spend most of my time (laptop, phone and telly, all connected). I am more than satisfied with this product, and would recommend to anyone with signal blindspots. I even purchased a used item (good as new, a return I presume), which as stated, was as good as new. Next day delivery, good price, accurate description. What more could a customer want. Oh yeah, something that works...One proviso, I tried the app (Nighthawk), which led to frustration. It seemed to create problems, so I deleted it and continued with the already working set-up. Not recommended.

Netgear wifi extender that actually works - briliant
Great Product. Manual setup failed, resolved via WPS and now working seamlessly providing reliable wifi in areas previously a problem for the Virgin wifi to get to. Work much better than the Virgin wifi pods that in truth provided a worse performance for me than not using them at all - they have now been returned to Virgin. Netgear technology works so very happy and a great investment.
