External to have with the handlebar mount.
I bought this swivel to mount with the quad lock motorcycle mount. My handlebars are not straight vertical and needed this to give me some more adjustments. Very well made.

Quad Lock rocks!
My bike quad lock set up needed a little more angle and elevation from the mount. The knuckle adapter was perfect for the job. It has various angles that can be dialed in, which can be a pain if your OCD kicks in.

I have a motorcycle and the rest of the quadlock system. This allows you to change the angle of the anti-vibration mount off the bar mount. You may not need, but I did. The reason for 4 stars is the price, it is pricy for what it is, but all in all if you need it you're gonna buy it.

I love my quad lock!
I love my quad lock setup! I had been wanting one for years to mount on my motorcycle and at the beginning of this riding season I finally pulled the trigger. Honestly haven't had something chage my riding experience this much since I bought my first sena. It's great have a sturdy, efficient, and safe mounting option on my bike that can easily carry across all applications. I can't recommend quad lock enough. It's sturdy and easy to read at speeds (I have the dampener with it).
