I don’t usually write extensive reviews but as a dog owner and love for animals I felt compelled to share my review. Our sweet Macie was diagnosed with Cushings. Her hair was falling out, wouldn’t grow back from where she was shaved from a removal of fatty tissue procedure. She was drinking incessantly, getting extremely thin and very lathargic. I was making weekly visits to Vet who put her on Vetoryl which made her WORSE! She stopped eating all together even though they lightened the dosage to that of a 10 lb dog for my 68 lb dog. I began researching alternative homeopathic medicines and came across HMR Ligmans and read reviews.This reviews are legit! I put our Macie on this in conjunction with Melotonin and gave it to her 2x a day. Morning/Night along with CBD oil. Prior to this regimen I honestly didn’t think we would have Macie through Christmas!After about a week I noticed her hair growing back, after a month not only did it grow back but her coat is as soft as a puppy’s coat; never in her life had her coat been so silky. She has stopped drinking incessantly (normal now) her energy and spunk is back. She is able to now get on/off our bed without help. She was also dragging her paws and slipping easily which has gone away ! THIS WORKS! Must stay with the regimen. This is now part of her daily meds for rest of her life.Side note- we took her off dry kibble ( she wouldn’t eat anything until we found Fresh Pet Food. That in conjunction with HMR Ligmans, Melatonin, CBD Oil has completely reversed all symptoms. NOTE- the only prescription med she is on is Ursidol which helps with the Liver. Here is her before and after pics. Before Pic you can see how even the hair on her nose was falling off and life in her eyes were dull and dazed. .After pic- says it all! I’m so glad I took the time to research. Don’t let the doctor sway you from doing what’s best for your sweet pup. I almost feel compelled to walk back in to our Vets office and show them how homeopathic alternatives work!!

Can't yet tell if these are helping my newly diagnosed Cushing's dog, but was one of the recommended treatments as per the vets at the university of Tennessee in Knoxville UTK. I found this option mentioned, since my dog "supposedly" according to our vet, has BOTH Atypical and Cushing's....although I couldn't find literature or treatments anywhere on the web of dog's having both diagnosis's simultaneously, so am a bit skeptical as to that. Treatments are different for a dog with Cushing's and a dog with Atypical Cushing's, so am worried as to what is the proper treatment plan!! My dog's adrenal panel hormones were all elevated, BUT so was his Cortisol at 31 (supposedly only either the Cortisol OR the Adrenal panel hormones are elevated, but not both, as his were).....this after our local vet had found no Cushing's a few weeks prior and that his Cortisol level was negative according to 3 different labs that ran the same sample (because his office was changing labs and had new equipment he did 3 lab tests for comparison, with the highest being 22). My dog did have excessive thirst and urinating and confusion, a pot bellied appearance, but NO hair loss, had high Blood Pressure at 190 also found at the 2nd vet, and protein in his urine, but creat ratio urine was also negative. So between this and the Melatonin 3 mg twice a day, I'm hoping it works. DON'T want to put him on the chemo drugs, vet wanted Vetoryl, but on the UTK site it says not to use that if their adrenal hormones are already elevated, so I said to go this route, safer, more conservative too. God willing Tobey can be maintaied on the Melatonin and HMR Lignans.

Using these for my dog and they are helping immensely. Only had one mistaken product shipped. Happy as a whole.

***Update: the melatonin and ligans seemed to help initially, but as Cushings progressed her symptoms became much worse and she could not control her urination which was disgusting and miserable. We finally had her tested for Cushings and it was confirmed she had it so put her on Vetoryl and it has been life changing! I wish I would have just spent the money to get her tested when the vet said she suspected she had Cushings.Let me start at the beginning. I have a 12 year old Weimaraner that had so many neurotic issues arising. She was constantly barking for more food and water, eating dirt and the rusty bottom of our grill, licking herself incessantly, licking furniture and wetting the bed at night. I was frustrated with her to say the least. I took her to the vet and the vet told me she thinks my dog has Cushing’s disease. After reviewing the way to diagnose and treat this at the vet it was going to be expensive so I decided to do some research. I found several things that said Melatonin in combination with Lignans daily have resolved many Cushing’s symptoms in dogs so thought I’d give it a try. I am so glad I did! We are about 11 weeks into the Melatonin and Lignans and she is completely symptom free most days. She will have a day or 2 here and there where the neurotic behavior comes back for a short time, but I’m confident as long as I keep her on it things will continue to improve. I didn’t notice much improvement starting until about 7 or 8 weeks in so give it time to work.
