Fantastic little keyboard.
What a awesome little keyboard this is. I bought this for a Raspberry Pi arcade project, mounting the Pi inside a Bartop, using a small CRT TV, a custom arcade controller, and using this keyboard for editing, etc...All I had to do was plug in the wireless dongle, switch on the Pi, and it found the keyboard and it worked straight out of the box. No drivers, no messing around or config editing. It's great to hold, comfortable and easy to use. The backlighting is nice, and you can select from a few colours, including white, plus a rainbow effect - which is nice. And you can switch off the backlighting altogether, if you want to save the battery. Charging the battery took a couple of hours from flat, and so far has lasted many days without charge. The distance is quite good, I managed to edit some Retropie configs, while sat at my PC - about 8 feet away, and it worked great.I bought a pack of rubber feet, not for this project, I used 4 of these rubber feet - and stuck them at each corner, underneath. This helps the keyboard stick to a flat surface, and stops it sliding off. I would highly recommend this if you are going to use it on a table, or flat surface. The keys feel good, with a slight rubber feel to them. When you press them you get a nice clicky sound, so you know you have registered a key press. I haven't tested the trackpad mouse, yet. The mouse buttons work great, you have left and right-click buttons. If you leave the keyboard on for a couple of minutes, it automatically switches to sleep mode, so you don't waste your battery if you forget to switch it off. You then just press a key and it comes straight back on. Really like this feature.Overall, a great keyboard, at a great price. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanted a keyboard for their Pi, Tablet, or mobile phone.

1 year on and lasting, but I'd like to see 3 changes.
This keyboard is still being used.. in fact, I am using it right now.One year on and it's still operating like new, so giving 4 stars was regrettable, however, there are issues that could be improved upon.1. There is no on/off toggle for lights. You have to press the button (while holding another) 8 times to switch them off.2. The trackpad is bothersome and inaccurate when using your thumb (as is naturally and ergonomically convenient) and false click inputs may be annoyingly frequent. I would not rely on the trackpad for banking or anything risky, and if you have to, I would recommend using a stylus. Instead of the trackpad, a *trackball* would be perfect.3. It doesn't appear to have a back button for webpages, so that would be a welcome addition too.So a track-ball, a light-switch and a back-button to make it even better please. Thanks.

Nice product, But.....
The quality of this keyboard was better than I expected. There is a positive key-click feel and the scroll-wheel is excellent. The rechargeable battery is easy to replace and there is a storage clip inside the battery compartment for the dongle. However, it does not connect to bluetooth devices without the supplied dongle. None of my bluetooth devices can see the keyboard directly. It seems you must use the dongle. It works OK with my Android Phone and Tablet with the dongle connected via a USB Adapter. It works great on an Android Entertainment box (T8 AML V3s).It works OK with a PC if that's really what you want to use it for.It does NOT work with my Sony Smart TV. As soon as I plug the dongle in, the TV complains that the USB device is incompatible with the TV.I bought the keyboard for my Android Entertainment box so these issues are irrelevant to me.Overall I'm pleased with this purchase.

Great remote for a media centre PC.
I have to say I absolutely love this. I’ve had an older version Rii remote for years which has been great, but this new model is even better. I have a pc hooked up to my living room TV to act as a media centre and this remote allows me to control it flawlessly. What really sets this apart from other remotes is the scroll wheel. Scrolling was always easy with a touchpad anyway but having a scroll wheel also gives you a middle mouse button which my old remote was lacking. I can use this to quickly open links in new tabs which makes web browsing a lot easier. I was worried the mouse buttons, which I prefer to tapping the touchpad would be too high to easily reach with my thumbs but they are fine. The battery life could be better but it’s not too bad. I tend to charge it every Monday and then I find it never loses charge on me. If it does lose charge you can still use it whilst it’s charging. I have mine set so the backlight is active for a few seconds every time I press a key, I’m sure the battery would last much longer with the backlight disabled.I have quite large hands and my fiancé has quite small hands but both of us have no trouble at all using it and reaching all the buttons. If the manufacturer reads this review, I'd like to see the backlight on/off button to be separate from the main key set so it could be easily found in the dark in order to turn the backlight on.

Full function pocket wireless keyboard
I dont normally post reviews this early, but got this little keyboard today, and having played around with it for an hour or so, I can honestly say it’s brilliant. But first, let me address the biggest complaint. This is not a Bluetooth device, so it won’t connect to a phone or tablet, it is purely for desktop devices. But as I only wanted it to control my multimedia laptop connected to my TV, it is perfect.Build quality is good, with no rough edges or defects. And when gripped and twisted does not creak at all.Installation on a Win7 laptop was a breeze, with the appropriate drivers loading in seconds upon insertion of the 2.4Ghz wireless dongle. Once loaded I switched the keyboard on, and it paired immediately. It’s super easy to use, with clearly laid out and legible buttons. The buttons themselves have a good positive feel, but being rubberised lack just that final bit of positivity that would make it perfect. I would prefer the tops of the keys to be solid and shiny a-la Blackberry. But that is a very minor point,Other than that I can’t fault it. It has cool functions like a dedicated caps lock light, and 8 different backlight settings (including off) accessed by pressing the Fn/win keys, which brings me to the fly in the ointment. The instruction book is next to useless. Frankly you’d be better off just playing around with it and see what it does, which is how I found the scrollable backlight settings.I also discovered there are multiple ways of doing things. There are left and right click buttons either side of the trackpad, or you can single and double finger click on the trackpad to achieve the same end.Similarly you can use the volume up/down, or the up/down on the 4 way controller, you can scroll down a page using the scroll wheel (which is also clickable, or using a 2 finger swipe on the trackpad. In short. It’s really good, and has become my new favourite gadget, until my new Dewalt impact gun arrives via Amazon this afternoon lol.Oh, and it’s micro USB rechargeable, with an indicator light to show charging status.I will update this review should anything go wrong, but I feel confident that I’m going to enjoy it.
