Great simple Sliding T-Bevel that does just what it's supposed to do.
This is a pretty simple Tool that does its job well. All its meant to do is to capture the angle of whatever it is you are measuring and retain it so that if you need to replicate the angle again you can do so with ease. The wingnut on the top of the plastic part makes it easy to adjust but is strong enough to apply quite a bit of pressure to hold the angle without moving. Between the bevel and the slot in the metal piece, you should be able to retain most any angle so long as you have a little more than an inch in the gap of the angle (to fit the tool in).Even though it has a plastic handle I do not have any question about its durability because it feels solid.

Seems Sturdy
I gave it a 5 star review only because folks have now considered a 5 star a product that actually does what it's supposed to do.This product works well. The blade doesn't move when tightened. It works as it should. Nothing more or less. It should be a 3 star review for doing what it should.

very economical tool
I bought this tool to use in replacing facia boards around my house and garage. It easily replicated the angles atthe peak and ends of the roofline so it's easy to make the same cuts on replacement boards. The metal portion though is a bit thin, and if it was roughly handled would easily bend. Still a good buy for the money.

Great Compact Sliding T-Bevel
I lost my old T-bevel I had for 40 years. When I went to buy a new one, they were either HUGE (10") or digital. I wanted a "normal" sized one, which is traditionally 8". You can't carry around a 10" in your tool belt and you certainly can't expect a digital one to hold up in the field. This one is perfect. It's sturdy and folds into a compact 8.5" total length when the blade is stored. Made in US is a bonus. It's inexpensive enough to lose but high quality. The wing nut holds tight. I've seen complaints that it's not stainless steel, even though it's marked "stainless". Yes, a magnet will stick, but I researched and there are some stainless steels that a magnet will stick to, so ignore the magnet test.

Does the job and it's American made
This is a very simple tool. No, it doesn't stand out too much from others like it, but it is made in the USA and affordable.

Johnson Level & Tool B75 Structo-Cast 8-Inch Sliding T-Bevel
I purchased and received this Johnson Level & Tool B75 Structo-Cast 8-Inch Sliding T-Bevel from Amazon. It is functional, for the not too discerning buyer. The plastic body is functional and will work to catch an angle or set one on a board or a woodworking project. It is just, not a woodworker's type of tool to be proud of. Maybe if you are on a job, working with others where you don't want to loose a really nice tool out of your pouch, this is the one. You would hate to loose a really fine tool, just that this one won't destroy you if it is lost.
