Since new build homes typically don't come with towel rods this was what I envisioned instead. I purchased the hooks separately. The shelves are perfect! I ordered a 36in set as you see with the cream towels and a 48in set that you see with the green towels. They're not loose but not 100% sturdy. I recommend maybe gluing to the wall in addition to the rest and definitely screwing into a stud. They're easy enough to figure out without the instructions. But I will say they're supposed to be screwed in underneath to the rods but they did not come with an appropriate screw for that so I had to use some I already had on hand.

Shelves look great and the install was simple. I only wish they were more of a navy blue color.

These shelves are a nice wood however the hardware could use some improvement. The shelves are a little wobbly so I wouldn’t trust heavy items on them .

I bought these shelves to hang in my daughter's room to put some of her stuffed animals and display dolls on. Nothing heavy at all! The description says the shelves cam hold 60lbs. The shelves leaned just a little under its own weight as soon as they were installed. At first I blamed it on the cheap drywall anchors that came with them even tho I used 8 screw per shelf. I took them back down and reinstalled them with heavier anchors. This still did not help and they still leaned down. We left to run some errands and when we got back one of the shelves had broken and was laying on her bed! The rods for the bracket that holds the shelf had snapped and broken JUST UNDER THE WEIGHT OF THE SHELF! NOTHING WAS ON THEM! If my daughter had been laying there she could have been seriously hurt! I took the other shelf down and 2 of the 3 rods on it were bent and breaking loose from the bracket as well! 1 bracket is one thing but both??? Really??? With nothing even on them??? Every but of it went into the trash. DEFINITELY FALLS UNDER BUYER BEWARE!!! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!

These are excellent shelves. The paint work is well done and they secure nicely with the enclosed hardware. Just follow the instructions and use two or three more anchors.

I love to put things together, ikea stuff for the kids, nightstands, anything with parts that need assembling. I’m an interior designer so I know quality when I see it. While these shelves look nice (a lot of variation in color for the natural shelves) the nails were horrible. They strip very easily to the point I had to use a wrench to twist it out of a stud. The nails that fasten the shelf below are too short and do nothing for the support. Cam lock screws and bolts would be a much better option to fasten the bracket so it doesn’t wiggle. Also, I’m not sure how a level could be off but this one did not work. I checked it with two different levels I have AND a laser level and the one provided was very off. Weight of the shelf is pretty light but again, it doesn’t feel securely flush with the wall. I may get an L bracket for peace of mind. Would not buy again.

I stained mine to match my cabinets. Wide enough for table top frames. Easy to install. Comes with wall anchors but I bought heavier duty anchors for some larger items.
